Holding Alena in my arms makes everything feel okay again. It makes me feel like I have a small part of me back again. Not only is she the most perfect little thing in the world, but she's mine and she's Easton's and we created her together, and that is something that can never be taken away from me.
"How are you feeling?" The nurse questions with a smile as she makes her way into the room
"Great, I feel like this is exactly what I needed."
"You're Easton Raven's Fiance right?" She questions as she sits down on the seat next to me
"I was"
"Was?" she raises a brow
"He uh, something happened, an accident while he was overseas, he didn't make it."
"Oh God, I'm sorry." she sighs sadly "I went to school with him, we grew up together."
"Oh, well we're holding a memorial for him in a couple of days, you should come."
"Gosh, I don't know how you're holding it together right now."
"I have to, I have my baby to think of and I know Easton wouldn't want me to be a mess right now, he'd want me to be happy and share this time with our daughter."
"You're stronger then I'll ever be, maybe that's why Easton liked you so much." She giggles softly and stands up "Let me know if you need anything, but you should be able to go home by tomorrow."
"Sounds great." I smile

Lorenzo's POV: (Italy)
I raise my hand, hushing my men as my phone begins to ring. "One moment." I click answer and pull the phone to my ear. "Hello."
"Don Lorenzo? It's me Hayley, the nurse from Springs hospital."
"Nurse Hayley from Springs hospital." I say out loud letting those around me know who's calling "Yes my love what can I do for you?"
"I just wanted to let you know the baby has been born, it is indeed a girl and her name is Alena Claire Raven."
"And she's healthy?"
"She's healthy. I managed to take a snapshot of her chart, it has her weight and measurements all those kinds of things, do you want me to send it to you?"
"Yes please dear, that would be great. Now before you go, how is Aubrey?"
"She's doing much better then I would in her position, I don't know how she's keeping it so together."
"Becuase she's a mother and she has to put the baby before herself now."
"Don't you think this is a little curl Lorenzo, I mean she's been through so much and now this?"
"I can't change what needs to be done my dear, but thank-you for your call." I hang up the phone and place it down on the desk.
"The baby has been born?"
"Yes, Alena Claire Raven, born today all of the other details are on their way now."
"And Aubrey?"
"She's doing well."
"For now."
"For now." I nod in agreement

Aubrey's POV:
I wake to the sound of birds chirping outside the window and rollover facing the side of my bed. Alena is sleeping peacefully next to me in her hospital crib. It looks like we made it through our first night together, and she didn't wake me once. Looks like we have another Oli in the family, clearly, she takes after Easton more so than me.
There is a soft knock at the door and I sit up. "Come in," I call softly
The door swings open and a Doctor makes his way into the room, I know he's a doctor because he looks like one in his clothing choices and he has a stethoscope around his neck.
"How are you feeling this morning Miss Black?" He questions as he makes his way over
"I'm fine, I'm doing well. Alena is sleeping right through and she's feeding well already, are we able to go home?"
"You are able to go home, but you'll have to take it easy for a little while you're still healing." He pulls out the seat next to my bed and sits down "There is something we need to talk about before you leave, however"
"Sounds serious." I turn to him
"As mentioned by your family Alena's birth was very traumatic for both her and your body and our main priority was to get Alena out safely and keep her alive, but because of that not everything went as smoothly as we would have liked, you lost a lot of blood and while the final report isn't written yet, I'll just cut to the chase, you won't be able to have any more children Aubrey."
Feeling tears well in my eyes I nod my head. I let it sink in and take a deep breath. "It's okay." I assure him "I'm not sure if you're aware but my Fiance passed away last week, so Alena is it for me anyway, there would never be any more children even if this didn't happen."
"I'm sorry, and I'm sorry for your loss." He stands up "I'll get your papers ready." He leaves the room
I take a deep breath and look down at my sweet little girl and smile softly drying my tears "Just me and you baby girl, always."
