Alastor took me to the little cafe we had gotten coffee at for breakfast. Sitting at the same table as before, we ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, and our coffee. Sipping my dirty chai, I relaxed in my chair and gazed around the room. There was a couple of soccer mom types in their leggings sitting at one table, and one of your stereotypical hipsters sitting with a typewriter of all things at another. Rolling my eyes, I turned my attention back to Alastor.
"Any word on who trashed the bookstore?" I asked, taking a sip of my chai.
"Unfortunately, not yet." Alastor sighed, watching as the waiter brought over our food. When he left again, the Radio Demon added, "I should be hearing something back from a contact today though." Then, almost as if summoned, his phone began to ring.
"Hello?" Alastor answered, completely forgetting about his food. He nodded along with whatever the person on the other end was saying. Watching him intently, I nibbled on a slice of bacon. After a moment, he hung up the phone and looked sternly at me.
"We might want to get this to go," He said, "I've got a lead on the asshole who trashed the store."
