My head was pounding.
Shit, and this is why I don’t drink. The aftermath is always terrible. I don’t have a between for me. It’s either I drink like my brother or I don’t drink at all.
Yeah, an unnecessary complication I have there, huh?
My vision was blurry, and I felt nauseous. I found myself in Lani’s room, still in the clothes I had on last night but someone tucked me in. I seriously don’t remember what the hell happened last night. All I can remember is my phone call from my mom and how I stressed I felt.
Shit. Work. I was supposed to cover Ro. Damn it. Ro must’ve worked because of me.
I looked at the night stand and see my phone. I took it, and noticed a text from Ro.
When I opened it, it said, “Morning, you little party animal ;) Don’t worry about your shift. I’ll take care of it. Just relax and rest for the day, yeah? See you tonight.”
I sighed, feeling a bit relieved that Ro was okay taking my shift but a bit flustered cause I have NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT. Like, I feel like something happened but I can’t put my finger on it. It’s on the tip of my tongue but it won’t slip.
After a few minutes of trying to get myself up, I finally stepped out of Lani’s room, and the first thing I heard was, “DAMN IT!” and “BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR DRINKS, GUYS!”
Yeahp, I’m in the house of 5SOS and the mama Lani. This is gonna be interesting.
When I found them in the kitchen, all their eyes landed on me.
“Well isn’t it the party girl herself.” Ashton grinned at me which made scoff, “Morning to you too.”
“How are you feeling?” Lani asked me with a heart warming smile. God, this girl.
“Feeling sick, but pretty good.”
I looked at who was sitting at the table, and noticed a crazy haired guy was missing.
“Where’s Michael?” I asked them, and Calum said after taking a sip of his drink, “In his room, sleeping still. He stayed a little too long when he was taking care for you.”
“He’s the one who tucked me in?” I exclaimed, feeling butterflies in my stomach.
They all nodded, and then Luke asked me, “Do you remember what happened last night?”
I shook my head as I took the empty seat next to Lani, “Can anyone remind me?”
“Weeelll...” Lani said with a high pitch voice, “Let’s just say your confession to Michael was very straightforward.”
“Daring.” Luke added, and Calum went a long by saying, “Blunt.”
“Unpre-” Ashton was about to say but I cut him off, “I get it!” and slouched back, sighing, “Can you guys stop easing your way into this and just tell me?”
“You told Michael that you love him.” Lani said loud and clear which made my heart drop. I think it stopped beating.
What...
“WHAT?!” I shot up from my seat, and yelled out, “DID I REALLY?!”
They all nodded in sync, and Cal said, “We were all there.”
“When he left you’re room, I asked him how you were doing, and let’s just say his cheeks were bright red.” Lani said with a grin.
“Oh my god...” I covered my face, “What am I gonna do?! HOW IN THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO ACT AROUND HIM?!”
