Chapter 20: Modesty

"Shhh~" I hushed the guys behind me, "She's still sleeping."

"Why so early...?" Michael groaned with a yawn after, and I rolled my eyes at him, "It's her birthday. Would you suck it up?"

It's officially her birthday, and the guys, Lani, Mia, and I her carefully walking to her bedroom while her family were at the kitchen, getting ready for the surprise. The family came to London last night and now at our place for the surprise which is perfect because Ro is knocked out since she had a late shift. Some friends are coming over also later today so Ro is gonna have the hang out that she wanted plus some surprises here and there.

I know, I'm such a great best friend. It's sarcasm, just letting you know.

By the time we reached her room, it was slightly open so I counted quietly, "Ready? One, two, three!"

"SURPRISE!!!"

We barged in with streamers and had multiple things to make so much noise with like clappers, party horns, and so forth. She absolutely hates it, but oh wells~

Like I said, best friend over here.

Ro's reaction was kind of funny due to her appearance. She shot up for her bed and her hair was a mess! She even had little eye liner left on her lower lash line. Of course.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RO!!"

Ro immediately covered her face as Ashton started shoving his phone to her face, yelling, "YOU'RE GETTING OLD, RO! HOW DO YOU FEEL?!"


"ANNOYED!" She groaned loudly and went back down to her bed to cover her face.

"Oh come on!" Ashton started poking her side, "It's your birthday! Celebrate with us!"

Ro started squirming, yelling out, "STOOOP! AH!"

She stood back up, and slapped Ash's shoulder, saying, "You are so annoying!"

"And this is why Tom has nothing to worry about." Ashton grinned and put his arm around her shoulder, saying as he shook the top of her head, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU LITTLE SQUIRT."

"UGH." Ro groaned of annoyance, but the moment Ash let her go, and had a good look at us, her lips formed a smile.

"Aww, guys," Ro took off her blankets, and gave me a huge, tight hug, "Thank you so much for this."


I hugged her back, saying, "Of course, but letting you know," I let her go, and said, "This is only the beginning."

"Well, shit." She chuckled and smoothed out her hair, "What more can you do on Wednesday?"

"Lots of things." Lani replied back as she took her arm as we started walking out, "Just follow us."

Then Mia handed her blind folds and Ro's response was, "Are these necessary?"
