Chapter 34

The bamboo-wearing girl aged her body before your eyes and it shocked you slightly; you never thought about how she would get in and out of that small box. But still happy to see her, you called her over to you, "Ah, Nezuko. Come over here please." The, now grown, girl tilted her head over to you before walking over to you with delicate steps and bending down to hug your frame upon arriving. You giggled lightly at how affectionate she was being and felt her body loosen and lean into your arms as you graced your palm over her head. Her sighs of content and humming signaled her happiness like a vibrant flower within a field of green. Hugging her now a little tighter, "I don't think I ever got to thank you for helping me with that snake demon, Nezuko-chan. Thank you for saving me." Nezuko pushed off of you gently to look at you. And once she did, you smiled brightly and had eyes that could only resemble the warmth of a calm fire. You watched as her own eyes widen a little bit before crashing her body into yours again as she huffed, causing you to laugh at her actions. 

And while you continued to hug the sweet girl, Tanjiro watched you both with a smile that radiated. He was glad that you were so kind to his kid-sister; it was definitely one of the things that made him fall for you. And as he enjoyed the lovely sight, an unpleased Zenitsu spoke behind him. Turning your head as you let the pink kimono girl fall asleep in your embrace, you could see that Zenitsu himself was a glowing, yet frightening, yellow. A sweat-drop formed on the side of your head as he mainly directed his speech to your friend, Tanjiro. With eyes that bulged from his head like a strange dog, "Just who do you think you are?!" He recomposed his volume of speech, "So, you've been traveling with two cute girls all this time?" You continued to watch as you kept petting the pink kimono girls hair. "With girls that cute in tow, day after day, you've been traveling, and you've been on cloud nine this whole time, huh?!" Nothing came from you except a look that screamed: are you actually serious? Tanjiro quickly tried to deny the yellow-males claims however, but was only met with Zenitsu screeching, "Give me back all the blood that I shed!"

The entire argument proceeded to fall down into a spiral; into a very, rapid, spiral. Zenitsu spewed out his tantrum about how he didn't just throw himself out into the open just so that Tanjiro could make out with both you and Nezuko. And never giving Tanjiro any breathing space to explain his side, the yellow, enraged male brought out his sword, ready to purge Tanjiro for thwarting his "marriage" and making him leave Shoichi. Chaos erupted in the room, waking up the sleeping Nezuko that you had laying on you. 

Now annoyed with the male's behavior and at how he was leaving marks in the room, you gently took Nezuko off of you and walked up to Zenitsu and his irate movements; never seeing Nezuko crawling into your futon. Now standing behind the male, your own expression of anger was now prevalent, "Zenitsu..." Your voice catching the male off-guard as you place a sudden and firm hand on his shoulder, "You need to shut up," whipping the boy around to face you now, "and go to sleep!" With the raising of your hand, you karate-chopped the now petrified male and his body went limp. The sound of his sword made a thump as it landed to the ground while you dragged Zenitsu to his own futon.

Walking back to your own futon now, you listened to Tanjiro breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank you for that, (Y/N)chan." Turning your head to look at him while your hands opened up your bedding, "No problem Tanjiro-kun. I think it's also time that we all finally get to bed. Don't you agree?" The aforementioned male nodded happily before moving to his bedding, but his body stopped immediately upon remembering something that he had for you. And as he remembered something while turning to look at you, you yourself realized that you had a sleeping, tiny Nezuko curled underneath your cover. Letting out a little chuckle, you gently woke the girl in order for her to move slightly. But to your surprise, the pink eyed girl completely got up in order for you to lie down before she herself got back in. And once she realized that you were settled, she wiggled herself close to you, greedily soaking in your heat. With one last contented sigh, your arms wrapped around her securely, welcoming the warm company that she had brought with her to your small futon. 

And as you became comfortable with the smaller girl in your arms, Tanjiro watched it all. The smile that he held to see you happily welcome his sibling into your own bedding made him feel warm and giddy and ecstatic. There was something that he loved about seeing the two of you. And now seeing you both comfortable and falling asleep, it made his heart ache with how sweet the sight was. And with a smile still present, he kept what he had in his pocket for another time, not wanting to disturb either you or his little sister. 

With the night finally beginning to come to an end, you laid in your futon with your pink companion snuggled up next to you. The warmth that Nezuko produced made your chest feel warm, making you fall into a drug-like state of drowsiness and care. With multiple waves of drowsiness beginning to overrun you, you squeezed the smaller girl in your arms one more time before finally succumbing to your bodies need. And with that need becoming closer to obtainment, you whispered gently, 

"Good night, everyone."

Hiya! I hope you all had a wonderful New Years! I had a blast lighting up a bunch of big fireworks (aka: BIG B O O M BOIS) and I was able to congratulate my brother on proposing to his girlfriend! This year is starting out pretty well!

Anyways, I feel like this chapter is slightly boring since I didn't dive too deep into you and Nezuko. But I'm planning on making that up in the future since the next chapters will mainly be revolving around growing your relationship with the three boys, your own development, and more cute moments with Nezuko! And maybe the hee hee man will appear... 👀

That will be it from me though! Again, I apologies for not making a super cute moment with Nezuko, but I promise that I will make a special chapter dedicated to that baby bean! And with that out of the way, have a wonderful whateverthetimeisyourightnow!
