Chapter 29

Previously!

Rushing over to Zenitsu's side and helping him up to a sitting position, you locked your cold eyed on the boar. You watched as he got back up and growl lowly. Your teeth stayed clench as your blood curdled; the need to protect Zenitsu and beat the shit out of a stranger was now running through your mind. Unsheathing your sword and maintaining your cold stare on the strange individual, you spoke,

"You better think about your next move carefully, shit-stain."

On to Chapter 29!

Motioning for Zenitsu to stay where he was while your body stayed stiff, you listened as the masked male growl like an untamed animal before yelling with agitation. "Damn it! Both of you are so damn annoying!" It's voice coarse. You didn't respond, not wanting to share any words with this individual. Grunting loudly, the boar-headed male launched himself towards you; steam escaping from his boar mask. 

Slightly surprised by his sudden pursuit, you guarded yourself with your sword. The sound of metal screeched with excitement as your two weapons collided; tension building in both body and weapon. "Get out of my way, you useless mouse!" He yelled as he suddenly raised one of his swords high before letting it fall onto you. Your eyes widened with fear for a split-second before you moved to the side in order to evade the oncoming sword. But because of your faltering second, the serrated sword was able to cut through your haori and uniform and slice your shoulder. 

Jumping back in order to gain some distance from the masked stranger, you glared at him while placing a hand over your shoulder as he laughed with pride. "If you can't evade my attacks then you're nothing but trash!" He cockily yelled, "Now get out of my way or else I'll slice your limbs off!" Both you and Zenitsu shared a terrified expression once he said that sentence of his. 'S-So aggressive!' You yelled within your mind as the boar launched towards you again. 

Making sure to not take another hit, you also made an attempt to pursue the oncoming fighter also. Screeching metal and small sparks erupted from your swords now. With angered eyes staring into the blue eyed mask, you put all of your strength into your sword in order to push back the boar; it worked momentarily. The male noticed that you were able to push him back  and spoke with a slightly impressed tone, "Ohoho!" The masked person laughed, "Were you holding back all this time, mouse?" Slightly taken back, you never noticed how shifted his weight. "How dare you hold back against me!" He suddenly yelled. 

Seizing his opportunity, the masked male used his serrated edges to grab your sword and rip it  away from you, leaving you completely open. You gasped as you saw your sword fly through the air and seeing it land straight up in the ground. An irritated growl came from the boar male again as he flung his leg towards your head. With your hands taking a mind of their own, they flew up and blocked the oncoming leg that was aimed right at your head. Now seeing your own moment to shine, you shifted your hands in order to fully grasp his leg in order to spin the males body around. 

Spinning in place in order to pick up speed, while ignoring the grunts and other strange noises the male produced, you flung him into the densely packed vegetated forest. Now running towards Zenitsu who was protecting the box that Nezuko was sleeping in, "Zenitsu! Get up! We're going to go find Tanjiro and get out of here!" "Eeh?! But you're bleeding (Y/N)chan!" The male wailed. You shook your head with tense, thin lips, "That doesn't matter! Now get up so tha-" "(Y/N)chan!" Zenitsu yelled abruptly as he pointed behind you with a fearful expression. Turning your head quickly, you saw the oncoming masked male flying towards you as he yelled with rage.
