Seeing her without the ability to move, you closed the distance between you both, your vision only focusing on her now and nothing else. You felt the incredible, rampant emotions in your heart yell their existence, making you feel invincible in this very moment. Like a moving cascade of water, unrestricted by it's obstacles, but overpowering them within it's own domain of power. Finally arriving right in front of her, you leaped into the air with your sword high above your head and with the moon to barely glow around your frame. Your eyes echoed it all as you looked down upon your once beloved sibling. Dilated and never lacking in their screams of hatred, you spoke,

"I'll give you the same treatment that you gave father, you cursed demon."

On to Chapter 53!

With a ferocious yell leaving your mouth and the small glint of your sword beginning to come down, you struck the now frozen stomach region of your sister. Your sword had sliced cleanly through the hard material- the action committed with speed yet remaining silent. Jumping back to gain some distance from your sister, you watched as she used her arms to jump away from her now severed lower half and instead become a small pool of black tar with only her head still exposed.

Vibrant yellow eyes looking at you with hysteria, "Ah~! You're quite skilled, (Y/N)chan!" Her use of formality with you irked you greatly. Her eyes now grew larger at a sudden speed as they slowly began to shift slowly to the sides of her head instead, resembling as if the head of a goat melting into the pit of a black lagoon. "But lucky for me," her now moved eyes on the side of her now focused on you like a chameleon, "you're too stupid to know how to kill me!" With the ground suddenly beginning to shake and the shadows of your village bouncing back and forth with the wild flames, she spoke.

"Blood Demon Art, Cage of Eternal Webbing!"

Within seconds of saying her command, the shadows that had surrounded you had suddenly began to fling themselves into the air, turning into make-shift webs as they descended upon your frame. And as they fell towards you, they formed and bonded themselves to each other to create a netting that expanded over the entire fighting area, never allowing you to escape. Clicking your tongue out of annoyance and quickly running under the highest point in the web, you positioned your body to prepare it for a leaping form, 'Breathe of Destruction, Sixth Form!' Leaping into the air now with your blade beginning to increase in temperature, 'Eternal Forest Fire!' With surrounding embers glowing around your blade and its once fern green coloring burning into a bright red and orange mixture, your arms began to move to slice the oncoming web.

But they never made it.

Shooting from the black tar that she had her body reside in momentarily, Asumi flew behind you and gently pulled your arms away from each other, breaking your formation. "You were about to use Eternal Forest Fire, weren't you?" Your mouth was left ajar as you turned your head to face her, her eyes focused on you with an unquenchable taste of domination. "Your form was lovely, little sister," suddenly, you felt sharp jabs enter your back and one of your calves, "but you're completely wide open." Slithering away from you as you could only now yell in anguish from the scalding pain that had entered your back and calve, you never noticed how Asumi gently took and threw your sword away while also leaving burning marks on your neck that glowed red after being touched by her shadow like hands. And to top it all off, you felt the black webbing finally descend gently upon you, but the feeling and pain that it had caused was far from gentle.
