Comfy There? - Ben and Joe

Joe very rarely had dreams when he slept. That's why, when he had a nightmare, it rattled him up so much that he didn't know what to do.

He dreamt that his housemate, Ben, was taken away. He was running around frantically trying to find him. Joe got kidnapped too but that was enough to wake him up with a sweaty brow and thumping heartbeat. He decided to settle his thoughts by going to see if Ben was still in his room. He'd probably be asleep by now but it would just reassure Joe that he was safe and sound.

He plodded down the corridor in his pyjamas which consisted of black shorts and a burgundy t-shirt. As he peeked through the gap in the door, he was surprised to see that Ben was actually awake.

"You alright Joe?" Ben looked up with a smile

"Yes. Uh, no. I had a bad dream and you were in it so I just came to see if you were ok and safe" Joe admitted

"I'm just reading my script" Ben explained

"Oh ok. You're fine then" Joe chuckled breathily

"You can stay if you want" Ben scooted over from the middle of his bed to the side with the little lamp on. He patted on the other side, beckoning Joe to come over

"Alright. Only if you're sure" Joe said, still stood by the doorframe

"Why wouldn't I be?" Ben shrugged

"Ok" Joe nodded as he went over to the bed. He pulled the duvet up before getting in and laying down comfortably

"Comfy there?" Ben smirked

"Just a bit" Joe closed his eyes. He could smell Ben's enchanting scent on the pillow

"Night night Joey" Ben whispered

"Goodnight Benjamin" Joe mumbled as he drifted off to sleep

In his state of sleep, Joe cuddled up to Ben. Ben grinned, thinking it was cute. He started to play with Joe's tufty hair whilst he read through his script.

Eventually, Ben put his script down and went to sleep. He put his arm around Joe, enjoying the comfort, and fell asleep.

I know it's really short and I'm sorry. I'm going to take a little break from writing because I have a few exams this month and I should probably focus on that x
