A/N: I am in no way saying that cheating is ok. My friend gave me the idea for this story and I wanted to try my interpretation.

Roger's POV
I was as drunk as a village idiot, and as high as a kite. But still, that was no excuse for what I did to John. I cheated. It sounds so simple yet it was so complicated.

"How could you?" John questioned. He wasn't angry, he was disappointed. I think I would've preferred him to be angry, I feel so ashamed.

"I really am sorry John. I didn't mean for it to happen and I thought I should be honest" I pleaded with my eyes

"I- I think I'm going to go back to my Mum's house" John said calmly as his eyes began to well up

"O-ok" I nodded as my head stooped low

The bedroom door slammed shut and I heard John sob behind it. I squeezed my eyes shut as my heart broke in that moment. I know how he feels. I can't live without John, not for one night, not ever. He's my one and only.

John came out of the bedroom and looked a bit shocked that I was still stood in the same place as before.

"I'll be off" His voice was low

"I love you" I looked up at him. His eyes were bloodshot and sore

"I'll ring you when I'm ready" Was the last words I heard John say

As the door shut I crumbled to the floor. He's gone. And who knows when he'll be back. I've done some stupid things in my time, but I'd managed to outdo myself this time.

Five days later
John's POV
I was lounging around at my mums house when I heard the telephone ring. The shrill cry contrasted from the silent house. Mum was at work so it was just me, and I had no reason to make a sound.

I went to the hallway and picked up the phone.

"Hello, John speaking" I said in case it was a call for mum

"John. Oh my god it's finally you" the voice on the other end said

"Freddie?" I quizzed

"Yes dear. I've been calling every Deacon in the phone book to try and find your mum's telephone number!" Freddie screeched

"Ok, you found me" I sighed, not really in the mood

"John you need to come back" Freddie said seriously

"Why?" I asked simply

"It's Roger. He's not left his room since you went and says he won't until you come back. He won't tell me what happened but he feels really bad" Freddie explained

"Not as bad as I feel. He cheated on me Freddie!" I nearly shouted

"Oh" was all Freddie could say

"Yes, oh" I sassed

"Well, John, I'm going to tell you something. I've never seen two people more loved up then you and Roger. You are perfect for each other and it's quite clear that you can't live apart" Freddie said all in one breath

"Then why did he cheat?" I asked, knowing that Freddie didn't know what happened two minutes ago let alone why Roger did it

"I don't know! Look, we may never know. Roger might not even know. All I do know is that you need to come back" Freddie said

"Alright. I'll come and visit tomorrow, but I'm not staying, not yet. I'll get him to explain, I think I'm ready to talk" I planned

"Sounds great. Bye bye John" Freddie said

"Wait Fred!" I grabbed his attention before he hung up

"Yeah?"

"Don't tell him I'm coming"

"Whatever you say darling"

"Bye" I hang up

I don't know, maybe I wanted to just turn up unannounced to shock Roger a bit. I don't want to hurt him, no that's terrible. However, it will probably scare him a bit when I show up wanting answers. He deserves that at least.

The next day I went knocking on the familiar wooden door, bright and early. The sun was still low in the sky but to be honest, I just couldn't wait to see Roger again. Even though it will probably break my heart.

I heard a bit of faffing from the other side of the door before it opened up to reveal a very sleepy Freddie.

"What bloody time do you call this?" Freddie grumbled

"Wake-up-Fred-o'clock?" I grinned

"He's in his room" Freddie said, knowing the true reason why it was wake-up-Fred-o'clock

"Thanks" I breathed shakily

"Hey, it will be alright. I've given him a good telling off. Just go and talk and then I'll have a nice cup of tea waiting for you in the kitchen" Freddie patted my shoulder

"Really, thank you so much Freddie. I don't know what we'd both do without you" I spoke quietly so I wouldn't give the game away that I was in the building once again

"Someone's got to look after the youngsters" Freddie mumbled as he went off into the kitchen

I went up the stairs and found myself at Roger's door. Well, it was mine and Roger's but I don't think I'll be sleeping there for a while. I knocked and waited for a reply.

"Fuck off Fred" I heard Roger grumble

I flung the door open and made myself known, "it's not Freddie"

"J-John?" Roger sat up, bolt upright, clearly in shock.

"Uh-huh. Now, are we going to talk?" I quizzed

"Y-yeah. Come sit" Roger patted the bed

"No, I'm alright" I said, finding this weird confidence

"Ok, yes, um. What do you want to know?" Roger scratched the back of his head

"Why did you do it Rog?" I sighed, half annoyed, half sympathetic

"I don't know. I didn't feel like I was in my body, I felt like somebody completely different" Roger looked down

"What? You thought you were a Liverpudlian house maid?" I joked with a bit of a serious tone still lingering in my voice

"No, stupid, somebody spiked my drink with drugs. I just know it. It's happened before and it felt the same. The drugs must have been pretty strong because I couldn't have even told you my name. For all I knew, I could've been a house maid from Liverpool" Roger giggled momentarily at the thought

"Do you promise?" I questioned

"With all my life John" I saw Roger stood in front of me. All this time he had been inching closer and I hadn't even noticed until now

"Because if you-" I began

"I promise John!" Roger cut new off

"Don't interrupt" I shook my head

"Sorry" Roger squeaked

"I was going to say that I would set Freddie and his ballet shoes on you if you weren't being honest" I cracked a smile

"There's no need" Roger smiled slightly too. The poor bloke looks as if he hadn't eaten or slept in days

"Good" I nodded

I kissed Roger. An action I'd never thought I'd do for a while, let alone today. It was desperate and passionate. We pulled away, only because we kind of need to breathe.

"Don't leave me. I can't live without you, I can't do anything without you" Roger begged

"I won't. I might spend a few more days at my Mum's but we are still very much together and I love you" I hugged Roger

"I love you too. Come back soon" Roger looked at me with those big blue eyes

"I promise" I smiled before leaving him in his spot.
