If you haven't read my fanfic for this story, you might want to before reading this. This is an extended part to that fanfic.

John sat around the house. It was the first week from leaving college and he hasn't felt relief like this in years! John is now 18 years old, 19 soon. At this time of day he would be hanging out with his friends, Roger and Brian, but Roger is on holiday and Brian is at some university open day. His Mum and Dad were in Leicester, visiting family that he doesn't really know. John, well, he had nothing to do.

He got up to make himself some lunch when he heard the doorbell go. John thought it was weird as his Mum and Dad were due back later that evening but still decided to not let the whoever it was on the other side of the door wait for too long.

John opened up the door and saw him. That young boy who stole his heart. Well, he didn't look so young now, but John knew it was him. Freddie had matured so much. As soon as John recognised the nervous face, he dropped to his knees and began to cry with the most happiest tears.

"Honey I'm home" Freddie said after dropping his bags and putting his arms out

John sprang up and leapt into Freddie. He hit him with such force that they both ended up on the grass in the front garden.

"I missed you, I missed you so much" John panted, he was on top of Freddie and had the older boy's face in his hands. He then kissed Freddie with all the love and desperation he had in him. Freddie newly grown facial hair tickled his lips.

"I've waited nearly 3 bloody years for a kiss!" Freddie rolled his eyes before turning so he was now on top of John

"You've changed" John stated

"Not really" Freddie blushed

"You have! Look at you! You look so good Fred" John grinned

"What about you darling, you've grown! When we last met we were the same height, but wow! You could be as tall as dear Brian" Freddie said dramatically

"I would be as tall as Brian if he didn't have a growth spurt too" John giggled, "Look at us, two grown men rolling in the grass"

The pair got up and brushed off their clothes before going inside. Freddie put his bags in the hallway and followed John into the living room.

"This place hasn't changed" Freddie looked around

"Nope" John said. The poor boy still couldn't believe his eyes, Freddie was home!

"How have you been?" Freddie snuggled into John's side as they sat on the sofa

"I won't lie to you, I've been a bit lost" John admitted

"How come?" Freddie voice was filled with concern

"For a long time I couldn't even think about you without crying. I had to go through the courts and stuff because of the attack, that was just emotionally exhausting. My gran, she's no longer around. Everything just hit me all at once and I didn't have somebody to go to. I mean, I had my mum and dad but there are some things you just can't talk about to your parents" John explained
