Incredible (Gwilym and Rami)

Gwilym's POV

I opened my eyes. I was conscious of the fact that my eyelids were opening very slowly. I felt groggy and really heavy, it hurt. The light was streaming into my eyes and made me wince.

I became aware that I was in a hospital bay. I turned my head to see a figure next to a machine. I blinked my eyes to make my vision sharper. It was Rami next to a heart rate monitor.

"Hey" Rami smiled

"Hi" I said in a raspy tone, very much unlike my normal voice.

"How do you feel my dear?" Rami held on to my hand

"Hurts" I squeezed my eyes shut

"Where, love?" Rami stood up to check me over

"Just my ribs" I furrowed my eyebrows

"The Doctor will be here soon anyway. Do you remember anything?" Rami rubbed my shoulder

"We were in the car, with the boys, are they ok!? Where is Ben and Joe?" I tried to sit up but failed miserably as I crumpled in pain

"They are fine" Rami said calmly in contrast to my panic, "the boys are sat in the waiting room. They thought it would be best that I was with you when you woke up" He smiled

"What happened?" I asked

"Joe was driving, you were in the passenger seat, then me and Ben were in the back. Joe feels so guilty but it wasn't his fault, it was the other car. It was our right of way and the other car sped towards us and crashed into your side of the car. Ben was behind you, he only has a scrape on his leg. You got the full brunt of it." Rami gave me a sympathetic look

"Thank you for staying" I reached up and cupped his cheek

"It's a good job I love you. Hospitals smell funny" Rami screwed his nose which I thought was cute

"Can you bring the boys in? I want to see if they are alright" I asked

"You're the one worst off, yet you still put others first. You're incredible" Rami sounded as if he couldn't get his head around it. That was just who I am though. The boys mean the world to me, especially Rami. But that's because we are dating, we have been for about a month now.

The boys stumbled into the bay. Joe immediately came to my side and Rami made Ben sit down on the seat as his leg was still a bit swollen.

"I'm so so sorry Gwil" Joe hugged me

"It's ok, I'm alright. Are you guys ok?" I questioned

"Mine's nothing compared to you. We thought we'd lost you" Ben spoke up

"We couldn't wake you up, I was panicking like mad" Joe explained

"Like, really mad" Ben chuckled

"Well, I'm fine so you don't need to fret now. I'm glad I've got you all here" I smiled, "Just, next time, Joe is not driving" I joked

"Agreed" Joe put his hands up
