John's POV

It was times like this that I really wish Freddie was here and not in Munich. He would have been much better at handling this situation, what do I even do? On one hand I have Roger fawning over Brian, and on the other I have Brian pining over Roger. Both have asked me to ask each other out without knowing that the other person has asked. They turned to me because they think the other will say no.

What would Freddie do?

He'd just blurt our all their secrets and tell them to get on with it. Maybe I should do that. It seems like the best course of action, well, it's the only course of action I can think of.

"Roger! Brian! Come here!" I called out from the living room

The guitarist swiftly entered the room and took my request to sit down. True to form, Roger took a bit longer to get here so he gave us confused looks as he sat down next to Brian.

I all of a sudden got a bit nervous, these weren't even my secrets to tell. I paced up and down the living room, in front of them as I quickly thought about how I was going to start this conversation.

"I believe you have both come to me for help. And I think you should just tell each other" I said trivially

"What?" Roger furrowed his eyebrows

"3 weeks ago, you and I had a conversation in the kitchen, correct?" I asked

"Y-yes" Roger's face turned pale when he realised what conversation I meant

"And Brian, nearly a month ago, we spoke at the recording studio. You know? When Freddie and Roger were doing their singing parts?" I quizzed

"Yeah" Brian's cheeks turned a deep shade of pink

"I can't keeps these secrets, not on my own. If Freddie were here then it might have been different. I, frankly, can't deal with it" I said in a stressed tone, "so who is going to go first?"

"Rock, paper, scissors?" Roger suggested

"Uh-huh" Brian agreed as he bright his hands out of his pockets

"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" They both chanted

Brian revealed his hand in a fist, signifying a rock, and Roger had two fingers showing, representing scissors.

"Rock beats scissors. Spill, Rog" I gave him a look to tell him I was serious

"Alright, one moment. I need to think how I'm going to say this" Roger pressed just palm to his forehead

"Say what? Is everything ok?" Brian panicked

"Everything is great Bri. Mainly because I'm insanely in love with you and you make me the happiest guy in the world just by being in the same building as each other." Roger blurted out, only taking a breath when he finished his confession

"Now Brian" I tilted my head to tell him it was his turn

"I- I love you too Rog. I've known for a while, I just couldn't and still can't really find the words. Words aren't enough to say how much I love you" Brian admitted

"Now. Are we all better now?" I questioned

"What has John got to do with this?" Roger asked Brian, "no offence, Deaks"

"I asked him to ask you out for me" Brian said shyly

"Oh my God. I'm so sorry John. I did the same! No wonder he's been freaking out recently" Roger chuckled

"No way Colombo" I rolled my eyes

"I'm sorry too" Brian nodded

"Stop being sorry. If Freddie were in this country, he would say, 'now get on with it darlings, but don't make too much noise'" I said in my best Freddie accent

"John!" Brian said, shocked at my words

"That's not a bad impression, y'know" Roger smirked

"I'm going for a walk. You have two hours." I grinned

"John!" Brian gasped again in the same shocked manner as before

"I better give Freddie a call while I'm out, tell him what he's missed" I waved as I exited our shared house, "'Bye bye dears'" I said, impersonating our front man yet again.
