You walked into your house, seeing tony passed out on the sofa you smiled to yourself. You put the Burger's and fries out on a plate, and bought it over to the table next to tony.
You waited , not wanting to wake him up, but he must have been tired. You waited until the food was cold, and you were getting hungry yourself, so you gently shook him awake.
"ah, so the sleeping beauty awakes." you smirked down at tony who was till a bit groggy. He only groaned in response, seemingly tired. "why did you wake me? I was sleeping." he said
"I know that, and i've been waiting for you o wake up, so we can have dinner."
"dinner!" he said excitedly, and jumped up. "what've we got." he asked.
"I went out after you fell asleep and got burgers. Your favourite right?" you asked looking down at the man.
" h how did you know?"
" well before you fell asleep you aske for them, and then after you fell asleep, you kept muttering about them- so I kinda assumed. "
He blushed at the mention of talking in his sleep, knowing to was something the team used to laugh with him about, but it didn't seem funny anymore.
"oh, " he said.
"well, I heat them up, seeing as they are now probably cold." you smiled and prepared them, before sitting down next to tony and eating them- both of you enjoying the burgers and each others company.

Tony wasn't the only one haunted by the events in Siberia.
Steve woke in a cold sweet, sitting up suddenly and panting for breath. Tony. He had killed him. His friend. And he didn't even remember why he had felt so enraged.
Steve always knew he had a dark side, but he never saw this extent of it. The doctor had warned him all those years ago- ' good become great, and bad becomes worse.' was he always aplying that steve could have that in him, even if it was only small.
It had turned him into a murderer. And this time- h had killed an innocent man.
He had found that since the battle against tony, his fighting techniques had changed- he was no longer fighting to disarm, but to kill- and he admitted it scared him.
Recently his nights were filled with the horror's of that very battle. Steve knew tony didn't want to kill him, and not even Bucky. He knew that he was defending himself- but Bucky didn't know. ... but it didn't mater now, Tony was dead- because of him.
Each night was the same, he would see the absolute fear in tony's eyes. He believed he could do it, and he did.
He regretted it more than anything, he had lost the best friendship he had had in the 21st century. He housed him, helped him and listened to him. He had replaced Bucky in way Steve didn't think was possible.
These thoughts always came to him : regret, sorrow, guilt. H knew he would never get over it. And he would live with it for the rest of his life. He had the blood of an innocent man on his hands, and he would never e able to get it off.
The pain was too much. The memory was always fresh in his mind, and he wanted tony back by his side, fighting together ... 'Together'
Steve had broken his promise, and that made the pain escalate. He would never be able to apologise for everything, because even tony managed to admit he was wrong when he came to help- he came as a friend, and had died and enemy.
He would never apologise for not sparing tony, for not understanding his grief over his parents, for not telling him in the first place, for not trusting him with the information, for not agreeing with him on the accords- because of something Sharon said at the funeral.
He had killed his friend, over a man who couldn't remember who he was.
And the guilt was slowly killing him.
