'Tony Stark killed in the civil war by Captain America- a war criminal?'

So that was it, the avengers were split, half signed the accords, and the others where on the run. Was this the aim. The world was at risk because Captain America couldn't live with out a war.

Yu didn't know how you felt, for a long time, you thought they deserved this, but know you didn't know why you felt bad for them, and Tony Stark definitely didn't deserve to die because of it.

Steve lifted his shield above his head, he was standing above a cowering Tony Stark, his eyes burnt with vengeance for his best friend Bucky. The ironman mask was laying on the floor out of reach or tony, and he looked up at his old friend, scared of what he could do. Steve was numb, he only wanted to do what was right, but Tony destroyed Bucky's metal arm. he no longer cared who he was or what they had done together, he wanted him dead.

In one swift movement, Steve thrusted the shield down, cracking and shattering Tony's arc reactor- the one thing that was keeping him alive. The blood dripped down from Tony's multiple cuts all over his face inflicted apon him by no other than Steve himself. He gasped for breath when the shield made contact with his life source, and Steve breathed. He turned and helped bucky up, collecting his shield before he left,

"That shield doesn't belong to you, my father made that shield." Tony stuttered as he spat out blood. Steve dropped it, taking Bucky into his arms and helping him out. It was the last thing Tony saw before he passed out.

Steve had left him there, not knowing that he could have been dead. He didn't really want him to die, he just wanted him to feel pain. As soon as he got Bucky out of there, they went back to he compound to help Bucky. Steve explained what had happened between him, Bucky and Tony and when he told them about the arc rector, even Fury looked shocked and apawled.

"was he still breathing when you left?" Fury asked Steve, and he didn't understand why it was so important. Both pepper, Nat and Clint were crying, knowing what this had meant.

"Congratulations soldier, not only are you war criminal, but you killed Tony. " Fury stood, not meeting Steve's eye, and left, soon followed by Nat, Pepper, Clint, Wanda, Vision and Peter. He had lost everything in the war, and he would ever be able to meant what he had broken. Tony was dead, Rhodes was under going spinal surgery, Bucky was once again left vunerable and armless, Clint, Wanda, Scott and Sam were all wanted, and his team could no longer look at him.

Steve got out of there as soon as he could- if he had know that Tony could have died, he never would have done it. Tony was one of his first friends in the 21st century, and he never hesitated to help him. He was filled was guilt and couldn't look at Bucky, knowing that he don it to help him. For the first time he looked back on the evets that took place in that cave, and even before that, and he knew- it was his fault- he split the team and was responsible for everything.

Unknown to the world, Tony stood when Steve left, stepped out of the suit and walked out odf the cave with a limp, struggling to breath.
