HOMELESS ~•Tony Stark X Reader•~

Part 3

Tony managed to get out to his car, where he immediately called for JARVIS to get him home. He took him to is mansion and he went straight to his lab. His breathing was shallow and came fast and quick. He was slowly dying, and he had no one but the AI system he created for help. He stumbled down the stairs and went to the desk, where the present Pepper had gotten him was placed. He smashed the glass surrounding the arc reactor and with the help of dumb-e he was able to replace the damaged one.

He looked around the lab, he picked up his glasses- Edith- and quickly left. With the clothes on his back, and his credit card In his pocket he left, destroying his phone on the way. He left the city, wore a thick coat and a hat to further disguise him. He was feeling better in himself, and after a few months he returned to the city, carrying his blankets and bag with his few belongings. He missed his home, his best friends. He would walk by his tower almost everyday, he saw pepper helping Rhodes in a wheel chair one day, and he couldn't help the tears that fell from his face. They were so close but yet so far. They wouldn't recognise him any more- and even then they thought he was dead.

At night he would pull his legs against his body to help stay warm. He would dream of the moment that changed his life forever, the scene would always play out in his head, and still to this day he believed that he should have died. He didn't want to live any more. he never did.

The alarm went off in your room, and you quickly jumped up and got ready for your day at work. In half an hour you were running out of the door, and made your way to the bus stop. You travelled to the train station and went straight to work. You passed many people on the busy streets of the city and before you knew it, you had collided with someone.

You quickly composed yourself , and noticed the man that you had ran into. You bent down and helped him pick up his things. The first thing you noticed was the smell. He stunk. Then it was the messy unkept beard. Then it was is wonderful brown orbs. You appreciated his gorgeous eyes and suddenly realised you were staring.

Tony quickly turned away from the tower, with a pain in his heart. He pushed past many people on hr busy streets, and then when he wasn't really paying attention, he was pushed and dropped everything in his arms. He quickly tried to pick them up before they were lost in the crowd. Then a beautiful women bent down to help him. He suddenly felt really insecure, he knew he stank because he hadn't showered for ages and he also knew he looked a mess. he smiled at you and blushed under your gaze, but when he noticed you staring he panicked, thinking you had recognised him, so he gave you one last thankful smile and ran off.
