(Name) was desperate to tear that mask off of the Ultimate Anthropologist.

She just wondered why he wouldn't ever do it. It was just his lips, anyway. Maybe there was a scar there? Obviously it was something he didn't want anyone to see.

But even so, the students were alright. She had a good relationship with everyone, but Korekiyo struck her as interesting the second she stared at him, all because of that mask.

She didn't know that he felt the same, in a way—even so, he didn't want to admit it, as in his heart, he felt he was committed to someone else.

And that was mainly the reason he could never take off that mask he wore that made him all the more mysterious.

"I'm gonna find out what's under that mask," (Name) said, triumphantly placing her hands on her hips.

"Uh... I'm pretty sure it's just his mouth," the robot answered. "His chin as well."

"Oh, shut up Keebo, you're not helping. I just wonder why Kiyo covers it up... and he talks with the zipper? That's super cool. But I'm still curious as to why he won't just lower it."

"When you say it like that... it intrigues me as well. What does he have that makes him hide so much?" he questioned, placing a finger on his chin in thought.

"Exactly!" she agreed, smiling wide. "I'm gonna find out. I'm pretty sure you all like me, so he wouldn't have an issue with it."

"Well... if you say so..."

Meanwhile, the Ultimate Anthropologist, who had been ready to walk into the kitchen, heard his name being spoken. He stopped, standing against the wall and listened in to the rest of the conversation.

When he heard it end, he dismissed what he wanted to do in the kitchen and instead walked off to his room. He let out a deep chuckle to himself.

"Ah, (Name)... your innocent face to match your innocent intentions... but what would happen when you find out what truly lies under this mask?"

He knew that everything would be different if she ever did. Which is why he couldn't let that happen.

He walked into his room, closing the door and locking it. Walking over to his wardrobe closet, he opened it and stared at himself in the small mirror inside.

"Ah, (Name)... you definitely intrigue me. More than words can explain."

A voice then rang in his head, which didn't really surprise him—it was what she said.

"Korekiyo... you wouldn't think of replacing me, would you? With that below average high school girl, no less."

"Ah, no... I would never. I wouldn't dare think to do that to you..."

"Good. Because Korekiyo... take off the mask. You shall see the reason why."

"My dear... I already know the reason why."

But even so, he slowly slipped off the mask he wore. Under it, revealed a thin pair of lips, ones that were feminine and wore the slightest bit of lipstick. As soon as he began to speak, his voice completely changed.

"Ah, there I am... don't you feel a bit better now, Korekiyo? Remember... you do not fall in love with anyone else. You cannot fall in love with anyone else."

As soon as she appeared, she was gone in an instant. Korekiyo almost let out a breath, his mask returning in an instant.

"Yes... yes, she is right. She is the only person I ever loved... and ever will."

However, with those words, his mind couldn't help but think otherwise. Why was (Name) so curious in uncovering what was under one simple mask? The others didn't bother.

She definitely struck him as interesting, as she put it, but it may have been more than that.

Unfortunately, with the one woman in his mind, he felt committed—no, it was more than that. He was infatuated.

But it couldn't hurt to entertain (Name) a bit.

In the halls, Korekiyo left his room, casual as usual. There was nothing out of the ordinary, as he was on his way to leave the kitchen.

Fortunately, as he was leaving, (Name) was entering.

The two brushed shoulders as they walked in opposite directions. He clearly saw her coming, but her gaze was on the floor.

And so, once the two made eye contact, her eyes shot up and widened a bit. What she didn't expect was the anthropologist to quietly place a hand on the side of her head, forcing her onto the wall.

"Kiyo...!" she whispered, a bit of blush crossing her face. "What are you... doing?"

"I know what you would like to do," he spoke lowly. "Or rather... what you are trying to do. You so desperately want to see what's under this mask, do you? You wonder why I hide it so much?"

Almost as if in a trance, lost in his yellow-colored eyes, she nodded slowly.

"Unfortunately, I cannot show you that... not in public, at least. However... if I do show you, then I would have to explain everything."

"What... what could you be hiding under that mask that so desperately needs to be hidden?" she asked, seeming to get some of her senses back. "I'm curious."

"One day, you will find out."

Korekiyo then removed his hand, standing up straight once again. He looked down at her for a few seconds before turning around.

"W- Wait!" (Name) called after him. "What do you mean... one day?"

"When that day arrives... all of you may find out. However, once you do, you will not be pleased."

And then he walked off, the mysterious aura remaining. She couldn't help but blink a few times, wondering what had just happened.

She knew one thing was for sure—he was a stubborn guy.

Yet then again, she didn't know the secret he held.

A/N: I added the aspect of Kiyo's interest, as it's actually kind of canon. : (

I hope that's okay!
