Hope's Peak Academy, a school that scouts students from across the country in search of talent. The ones accepted into the school are known as Ultimates. The Ultimate Yakuza, the Ultimate Mechanic, the Ultimate Princess; anything goes. 17 High School students were picked in the next batch to attend the school. They all believed they'd graduate and leave with their futures set up for them. But things don't quite go as planned. All of them are now trapped on an island with no easy escape, forced into a killing game by a psychotic teddy bear. The only way to win is through betrayal. This weighs heavily on everyone. But throughout the chaos, there is a flicker of hope for two participants. Y/N L/N and Mikan Tsumuiki. The Ultimate Mortician and the Ultimate Nurse. The boy that keeps to himself and the girl that apologizes for everything. The two of them couldn't be more different from each other. Y/N prefers to be away from others, Mikan wants to finally have friends. Realistically, the two could never bond. But by some miracle, a connection begins to form between them. A connection formed by a shared pain. The pain of the past. Pasts they can't forget. Pasts that shaped them into who they are today. Pasts they think they'll never move on from. The future has always looked bleak for them. But as their connection begins to strengthen, they begin to think otherwise. Just maybe, these two broken souls can heal each other. Many words may come to mind when talking about the students of Hope's Peak Academy. It's always the same things. Remarkable. Talented. Unique. And they're all said for good reason. Sonia Nevermind, the Ultimate Princess, may be one of the most incredible people he, or anyone, could possibly meet. A real princess from a European country. She's everything he isn't. She always stands out, her voice is always heard, she's truly worthy of being called an Ultimate. So why? Out of everyone, why is she the one that can finally see him? Why is he the one she always looks for in a crowd? Why does she give him her attention? What makes him stand out to her? What does she see that he doesn't? And how? How can they both survive a killing game? How will these two contrasting souls find comfort in each other? How will Sonia be able to protect the boy that's caught her eye? This book is BAD!!! The story goes: I wrote April Fools chapters for all my books and planned to take them down, but before I did that, I let people vote on whether or not I should repost the chapters in a book of their own for preservation purposes. Based on the fact that you're reading this, I think you can tell what they voted for. DRV2 SPOILERS. after your lover, gundham tanaka's execution happened you completely fell apart. you didn't eat anymore, didn't socialize with anyone on the island nor did you even talk to your best friend peko on the island anymore. you were slowly falling apart without him, luckily you had his scarf and the dark devas with you but you simply couldn't cope without gundham. he was your other half and the love of your life. but.. unlike the others there was someone who never left your side and constantly asked if you were okay, forced you out of bed and forced you to clean yourself up and forced you to eat and socialize. he was the only one who bugged you to get yourself together. soon enough, you fell for him because of how much he reminded you of gundham. his mannerisms.. his sweet gestures, the way he was with the devas. you couldn't help but think he was gundham in a way. so when he asked you to be his girlfriend.. you said yes. up until you messed up and accidentally called him gundham on your 6th month anniversary.
