Lucy looked up at Natsu as he entered the room from his shower, the image of him clawing at the guy who touched her flashed through her mind. She hadn't even noticed Natsu had kneeled down in front of her, Happy sat silently observing the two unsure of what to do. Natsu had seen what flashed through her mind and the worry she felt.

"talk to me Lucy please," he begged her  she took a deep breath in before speaking

"You shouldn't hurt people because of me Natsu its wrong, it's not the way we do things you know that" she spoke up. He sighed and put his head in his hands before running his fingers into his hair.

"It's like something else in me is taking over right now, I don't have complete control," he admitted he took her hands and looked into her eyes

" I will never hurt you or Happy, you two are my everything," he admitted looking from Lucy to Happy to give some form of comfort, Lucy gave a small smile and placed a hand on his cheek.

" I believe you, but when we get back we will give the others the information you have now, and then we will stay away till this blows over," she said thinking of protecting the others. Natsu's face became red and he looked away.

" Well this might not 'blow over' for a while," he told her using her words.

"What do you mean?" she asked, Natsu opened his mouth to speak before he glanced over at Happy.

"Happy could you give us a minute?" Natsu asked Happy, Happy obliged, and flew out the balcony door.

"Rogue and Sting said once I mate and seal our bond that's when it will start to calm down and be over," Natsu admitted looking away with a blush, Lucy's face became red and she covered her face with her hands trying to hide some of her embarrassment. Natsu waited for her to speak again
"Let's just go to bed get home and face this humiliation in front of the whole guild and then go into hiding for eternity" she whined flopping back onto the bed. This caused Natsu to chuckle so he climbed onto the bed over top of her causing her to peek out from behind her hands before making a squeak and hiding again. Natsu took her hands and pinned them down so she couldn't hide from him.
"Is having me in such a way a bad thing my mate?" He asked her with a grin, a grin that caused Lucy to heat up even more.
"No that's not what I'm saying"
"Oh, so you would like to have me in that way? All you have to do is ask Lucy and I will provide for you" he spoke again. Lucy was now as bright as Erza's hair, Natsu laughed and fell onto the bed beside her. Lucy became saddened that the moment was over and this caused slight confusion in her but she ignored it and stood up
"Well, I'm gonna get some air and let Happy back in" she stated walking away. Natsu began to beat himself up mentally for pulling such a stunt on Lucy but he knew he had enjoyed every moment of the embarrassed and flustered Lucy, which wasn't all that new between them but this time he had caused this reaction intentionally. He knew he was slightly proud of the reactions he had gotten out of his mate. Happy came in and sat next to Natsu
"Will you two always be this weird from now on?" Happy asked looking down at the fish that he had pulled out of his backpack Natsu assumed. He began to munch on the fish as Natsu answered
"No, things will be different but I think it will be less awkward and weird to you eventually" Natsu tried to reassure. Happy had finished his fish now and looked up to Natsu
"Well until it's not weird I think I'll stay someplace else" Happy chimed in Natsu laughed
"Just promise to come home," Natsu told him. Happy then curled up into the bed and fell asleep. Not long after Lucy came back in and curled around Happy to sleep, and Natsu around her. Natsu however didn't go to sleep, he stayed up in worry but was calmed when he saw glimpses of Lucy dreaming, it was of the two of them being happy as a couple and all the times Natsu had rescued her in the past. With a happy heart, he finally fell asleep.
