LIVI'S POV

"Are you okay?" Noah asked, right as Hunter stepped out of the room.

"Yeah." I smiled gently and nodded. I felt weird and my arm hurt, but I figured I had taken some strange medicine. I noticed Noah still didn't look as if he believed me, so I tried again. "Really, Noah, I'm okay."

"Okay." He let out the breath I hadn't noticed he was holding. "What are you brothers going to say?"

I hadn't given much thought to this. The doctors ran so many tests and I was just being hustled around, as well as the pain completely distracting me too.

"I don't know. I've never broken a bone before. I've never done anything before, actually. Jaxon and Olli have had plenty of feet and leg injuries from football, and Hunter broke his arm when I was a baby, but other than that, it's never been me." Noah nodded at this, seemingly deep in thought. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine." He smiled, grabbing my non-broken hand. Something felt different this time. Of course, I had held Noah's hand before, plenty of times. We've pretended to be dating at various school camps so many times, yet, this felt more. I couldn't describe it, but it was more.

"Olivia?" Knocked Dr Fuller, walking into the room. I tried to pull my hand away from Noah's, but he wouldn't let go. I internally smiled. It was cute. "Oh, where has your brother gone?"

"He had to go and pick up my other brothers. He will be back soon." I answered.

"Okay. I need to speak with him, please press your help button when he arrives." And just as quick as he came in, Dr Fuller was once again gone, and Noah and I were alone together.

"Let's watch Netflix." Noah smiled, pulling out his phone.

HUNTER'S POV

As I drove away from the hospital, I couldn't help but think about how Jaxon would react. A few comical scenarios ran through my mind, but the serious ones counteracted it. She was his world, even if they fought, you could see it every day. I was more of a Dad to Livi, whereas Jaxon was her big brother. He didn't have to enforce rules and consequences. He wasn't the one who had to make sure her homework was done or that she had brushed her teeth. He was the one who could hug her when she freaked out in a scary movie, he was the one who could toss her in the pool, and she would laugh it off. I loved her and I was scared, even though I knew she was going to be fine, but Jaxon was going to be a whole different story.

As I pulled into school and checked my mirrors, I saw the huge bus pull up in the bay. I didn't need to get out of the car, so I waited and watched as they all said goodbye to their mates. Jaxon scanned for our car, and I smiled when he grinned after he spotted me.

I popped the boot open and they piled their bags in.

"Hey Hunt!" Said Jaxon, happy and content. I couldn't help myself from thinking this mood wasn't going to last long, and that it was going to be me to ruin it.

Olli and Lachie also spoke to me and we chatted as we drove home. They were happy relaying every single event from their trip to me, whilst I decided to go home and drop off our stuff first. If we had to take Noah home, we wouldn't be able to fit everyone with all the Skis and Snowboards too.

"Where's Livi?" Asked Jaxon, after a surprisingly lengthy amount of time. I thought that would have been the very first question.

"With Noah." I replied nonchalantly. I didn't want them freaking out in the confined space of our car.

"Why?" He huffed. "Didn't she want to come see me?"

"And me!" Scoffed Olli.

"Me too." Added Lachie, just for good measure. It was like an echo.

"You'll see her soon enough, just unload the car and we'll go to her.

"She's not at home?" Olli asked.

"No. Now unpack the bags."

They quickly unpacked and grabbed some snacks before we were on our way again. I was trying to get back to Livi as soon as possible.

We drove for about 10 minutes before Jaxon realised.

"This isn't the way to Noah's house. Where are we going?" He looked at me with a stare that could kill. It felt even more powerful than usual, even though I generally could ignore him.

"I have something to tell you. There was a bit of an accident."

LIVI'S POV

We were about 25 minutes into Paddington when I felt myself getting slightly drowsy. I had been sleepier recently, but I put it down to being a teen. When all the boys became teenagers, they started sleeping a lot more, so I figured I was just being like them. I was thirteen now, after all. I couldn't help myself as I slowly fell asleep. I loved Paddington, but even hearing about the family Paddington was staying with couldn't keep me awake. I rested my head on Noah's shoulder and let my eyes close softly.

NOAH'S POV

As I hear deep, steady breathing beside me, I look to see Livi fast asleep on my shoulder. Most people don't look very pretty whilst they sleep, but I couldn't help but watch her lay there peacefully. I turned off Paddington, knowing she would not want me to keep watching the movie without her, and instead connected my AirPods and start watching Tik Toks instead. This girl called Charli D'amelio kept appearing on my for you page but I didn't even get the hype about her. I did a quick look at her profile and saw over 7 million followers, which, even I must admit, was impressive. I was so busy scrolling, that I got a huge fright when 3 Miller boys appeared right in front of me.
