I hummed as I made lunch. Mac and cheese, the best kind of lunch. I took the pot of pasta off the stove and drained the water.

Unfortunately I poured it too fast and some boiling water splashed my hand. I yelped and dropped the pot.

"That was loud." Roman commented, walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah, I just splashed boiling water on my hand." I giggled, drying off the water.

"The stove is burning." Logan said without taking his eyes off his book.

"Whoops!" I grabbed a glass and filled it with water.

When I threw the water on the fire, it just exploded!

"That was epic!" Roman shouted.

"That was careless." Logan sighed, "were you not worried?"

I shook my head, "I'm not worried about anything."

"Me either!" Roman laughed, "I feel like I could fight ten Dragon-Witches!"

Logan frowned, "it's odd that none of us are feeling Anxiety's affect. Has anyone checked on him recently?"

"His door was locked when I dropped off his script." Roman shrugged, "nothing too unusual."

I started to zone out of that conversation, looking to the console screen.

"Look!" I gasped, "Joan and Talyn are here!"

"Oh yeah," Logan nodded, "they were supposed to come by today."

"Why do they look so worried?" Roman asked, "there's nothing to be worried about."

"Lets go ask them!" I giggled, quickly sinking out to the real world.

"Thomas you can't walk in front of a moving car!" Joan lectured.

Thomas just shrugged.

"Hi Joan!" I laughed, startling them, "Hi Talyn!"

"Patton? What are you doing here?" Joan asked.

"You two seemed worried so I thought I'd pop up to see what's wrong!" I answered.

"What's wrong is that Thomas is doing reckless things!" Joan said.

"Oh I'm sure it wasn't too bad!" I waved it off.

"He stepped into a busy street." Talyn quirked their eyebrow.

"We'll he didn't get hurt so it's okay!" I shrugged.

Joan just sighed, "Where's Anxiety, we need to talk to him."

"No idea!" I chirped.

"Wha-?" Joan stammered, "okay, who was the last one to see him?"

I shrugged.

"Why don't you just call everyone out huh Thomas?" Talyn sighed.

"If you want me to." Thomas shrugged, "Logic! Creativity!"

The two others popped up.

"Oh hi guys!" Roman smiled.

"Is there something wrong?" Logan asked.

"Yes! Where's Anxiety!?" Joan said, starting to get frustrated.

"I believe he went to his room... And hasn't been out since." Logan nodded.

"Also his door was locked this morning." Roman added.

"So why don't you go check on him?" Talyn asked.

"We can't get into his room if his door is locked." I said.

"But Thomas can." Logan pointed at the host, "Thomas is, in a sense, the master key. He can enter any of our rooms if he so pleases."

Thomas gasped, "does that mean I can go to Patton's room!?"

"No!" Joan interjected, "you're going to Anxiety's room, to check on Anxiety."

Thomas sighed heavily, "fine!"

With that, we all started sinking down to Anxiety's room.
