I lost my husband three years ago. My family and friends helped look for him. We all searched for months... I'm still looking for him to this day.

In all honesty, I know he could be dead by now. But I'll never give up looking.

Our kids have grown up; raising them into adulthood alone was hard. Izuku always knew what to say, I'm the more quiet type. In any case, my eldest son, Taro, is 20 and he works as a professor at UA high school.

The twins are 19. As soon as we lost Izuku, Asahi enlisted in the military as his way of contributing to keeping this family safe, as he says. He wants his mother back just as much as I do; they all do. Yukina also got a job at the age of 16, not to keep us safe but to keep bringing in the money. She became an artist and a sculptor and now she's quite famous for her work.

Makoto is 17 and is still in school. He wants to look after people. He wants to look after children, like he does in our home.

Kasou is 16 now and he knows that he wants to be a police officer, to keep everyone safe. He has a dangerous feel about him, Kasou, but his heart is as good as gold. He reminds me of my brother that went off the rails, which makes me even more thankful that he has Izuku's pure heart.

Sakura is 15 now and she's working her way towards being a vet. We got a bunny when Izuku left to fill the gap in my poor 12 year old's heart when she lost her mother. To fill the gap in all out hearts. We called the bunny Katsudon, Izuku's favourite food to always be reminded of him... not that we've ever forgotten him.

Taro recently began dating Akane Yaoyorozu around 7 months ago. She's been comforting him well when he needs it and I do consider her a part of the family at this point.

I believe Asahi has a thing for Akane too, so there may be some brotherly rivalry between them soon enough which will be super fun to deal with.

Yukina began dating Seichou Monoma around 6 months ago, but I'm not entirely sure how that's going.

Makoto has secretly been speaking to Tadashi Sero for around 9 months, and the only reason I know is because Makoto can't reside in Izuku anymore, so he talks more to me now. Makoto isn't an out gay yet, despite having gay parents. I guess he's a little shy. I love that he talks to me more, but I'd never want Izuku to stay away just for a better relationship with my son.

Kasou and Aki Tokoyami were speaking 7 months ago, but I'm not sure where that lead to...

Sakura has fallen deeply in love with Katashi Kirishima, and hasn't stopped telling me about it for around 5 months.

All my children are falling in love and I just feel more distant from my husband. Where did he go? I just want him back...

"Hey, dad, what's happening with the food situation?" Yukina opened Shouto's office door to ask her question.

Shouto spun around in his chair, "I'll go down to the shop in a little while. How hungry are you all?" He asked.

"None of us have eaten today."

Shouto rubbed his head, knowing he'd have to go outside, "what time is it?" He questioned.

Yukina looked at her phone where a photo of her and Izuku popped up, along with the time, "13:13"

"Oh, how unlucky." Shouto chuckled, "alright, I'll head out in a second."

"You want me to do your hair?" Yukina asked her father.

Shouto nodded, pulling his long hair back behind his head so that his eldest daughter could style it.

After losing Izuku, Shouto practically gave up. He provided for his family but gave up on himself. The 43 year old man hasn't cut his hair for 3 years. His bi-coloured hair is now down just further than his shoulder blades.

Yukina took her father's hair in her hand and split it into three pieces, slowly weaving them around each other. A beautiful plait formed and just as a final touch, Yukina brought the braid around so that it sat nicely on her father's shoulder.

She turned and placed her hands firmly on her fathers shoulders, smiled and said, "why don't you go pick up some noodles, come back, and I'll prepare the six of us some soba."

Yukina turned around and began putting her hair tools away, only one of which Shouto knew the name of (which was a hairbrush).

Her father turned to her confusedly, "don't you mean the seven of us?"

"Nope." She said, turning to her father once again, "Asahi's not coming home tonight. He rang and said that everyone in the military has been asked to stay and do extra training. He's coming home next Sunday." She explained.

Shouto sighed and stood, I'll go get us the noodles then." And with that he left the room.

"Is that everything, Sir?" The lady at the till asked.

"Yes thank you, just the noodles." Shouto smiled lightly.

He left the shop, holding the pack of noodles and he passed the lamp post. The same lamp post he found Izuku's scarf three years ago. He closed his eyes as he passed it, not wanting to bring up all those bad memories once again.

"Split up. This war starts now."

A group of 5 set out from the command of the palest one of the five.

They began to sneak around, turning corners and hiding in the shadows. They seemed to be searching for something.

Shouto passed the lamp post and smiled, attempting to rid of the bad memories he once had.

He turned a corner, but the next moment he was on the floor, next to someone else. They had collided.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, that was completely my fault." Shouto picked up his noodles that he had dropped and looked at the person he had bumped into.

Silence. Complete and absolute silence. Hazed memories and cloudy dreams passed through his mind, as he stared directly into the eyes of his long missed husband.

"Izuku?" Shouto asked, "Izuku is that you?"

He approached the smaller man in order to hug him and kiss him, only for the smaller to crawl away with a disgusted look on his face.

"Izu... it's me" Shouto told him, unsure of why his husband was moving away from him.

"It's me, it's me!" He closed in on the small male, still on the ground.

He got so close, close enough to kiss him but before Shouto even realised what had happened, he had been slapped, and there was a pocket knife at his neck.

"Never speak to me again." His eyes glowed a luminous green, "a war is coming."

"Izuku-" Shouto protested and the small man's luminous eyes flickered back to his usual colour, before returning to be luminous. He rubbed his eyes thoroughly and groaned.

The green haired male put away his pocket knife and stood. He began to walk away, but he stopped and turned his head one last time to say to Shouto, "next time you speak to me, I'll kill you."

Shouto sat there, on the floor, stunned. His mouth gaped open and his eyes saw loss once again. His husband didn't remember him...

Tears welled up in his heterochromatic eyes as he sobbed, "what do I do?"
