"Phases"

(I know that the rap part was written by Ed and Z but here Ariana helped them so please just go with it)

Ariana's POV

"Can I see what you've got so far?" I asked as soon as me and Zion entered the studio
"Well we have everything, the lyrics and melodic line but we miss the rap part and we need to record the part after it's done" Brandon said and I nodded
"Do you want us to sing what we have so far?" Zion asked me smiling
"Oh my god are you serious? You want to sing it for me? I thought you didn't wanted me to hear them" I said excitement taking over me
"Well we didn't wanted you to hear them, but you will hear this one and only this one" He said and the boys smiled
"Thank you thank you thank yooouuu" I said and kissed him all over his face making him laugh
"Okay love birds we love seeing you happy but we don't need to see everything, even tho it's adorable as fuck" Austin said making all of us laugh

Zion went to them and I took a seat on the writing area.
"Let's hear what you have so far" I said smiling
They smiled at me and Brandon presses a button and music started blasting in the studio but not too loud so I could still hear their voices.
I looked at them and then Brandon started singing.

I know you're tryna do you, but I heard you fell off
After a couple bad nights
And 20 cold hearts, mmm

What the hell does that cost?

I listened carefully to the lyrics. When Zion started singing and all I could do was look at him and to my surprise he was already looking at me.

Who am I to conflict with you living your life?
Just know when you call, I'm at the end of the line

The whole time he was looking at me with a smile on his face. He is so precious. I'm really lucky to have him and to be his.
I looked at him and returned the smile when Edwin started singing.

I started bobbing my head at the beat. This song is really really good. Like really good. I'm so happy that they want me to help them.
I looked at them again and Nick started singing his parts.

Damn they are really good. And the background vocals and high notes are amazing.
Edwin started singing the choirs again.

After Edwin's part Austin started singing.

After Austin's part Brandon stopped the music. I guess here should start the rap part. I got up and started clapping my hands.
"Guys this is amazing" I said making them smile
"Thank you baby. But from here we need your help" Zion said smiling
" Ok so boys let's get comfy and get to work" I said to them
They took a seat on the writing area and I grabbed a notebook and took a seat on Zion's lap because all the seats were taken.

(Not everything from this part is what happened...because I have no idea how everything really happened, just a small part. But again this is just a story so yeah.)

"So tell me the story behind this song" I said and turned my attention to them.
" So there was this girl that I was having a conversation with and she was telling me that she was in love with this guy that was always there for her, but she needed to go through all these phases before she gets with him, you know like right person at the wrong time" Edwin said and I nodded my head
"And what about the guy?" I asked them
"Well he said that he was broken because she was fucking all these guys are that he was also tired of being soft-spoken because it was messing with his focus and that he knows that he's the one for her but he goes unnoticed" Zion said

I stayed silent for a minute and thought about his and Ed's words. They are actually creating the lyrics and they don't even know it.

"Ok. So for now lets work with what we have. Now you said that the guy is really tired of being soft-spoken, that he is broken, that she fucks with other guys but in reality he is the one for her but he goes unnoticed and that this is messing with his focus" I said, them nodding at my words
"Now let's use this first. Think about it for a second" I said and the room went silent

"I got it" Zion said and took the notebook from my hands and started writing. He wrote down something and gave me the notebook back. I looked at him smiled then read the lyrics out loud.

"yeah, I'm really tired of being soft-spoken
You got me broken, writing songs about you daily and it's messing with my focus
You fuck with him, but we both realize that he was bogus
I'm the one for you, so why do I feel like I go unnoticed" I looked at him a smiled
"Baby this is amazing, what the heck" I said excitement filling up my voice
He smiled and shook his head "Thank you" He said and kissed my lips

"Hey can I see that notebook?" Edwin asked and I gave him the notebook ably to see him starting writing immediately
"Well I guess my job here is done" I said and got up from Zion's lap
"What do you mean?" He asked me confused
"Look at you guys. You got this. You don't need me anymore. I just helped you start it and now you need to finish it. I'll just say this. Think about that situation and what he would do and if you don't have anything think about what would you do" I said smiling
"Thank you Ariana" Edwin said smiling
"Anytime" I said and walked towards the door
"Baby I'll be in my room. You can come after you finish if you want" I said and blew him a kiss and he pretended to catch it making me laugh.
"I'll be there baby" he said smirking

I closed the studio door and ran upstairs. I entered my room and plopped myself on the bed. I'm literally so exhausted.
Today was a long day.
