Family Meeting

Demi talked to Dianna yesterday and came to the conclusion that we need to have a huge family meeting. Dianna, Eddie, Dallas, and Bailey are coming over. Of course the meeting doesn't involve me, Tristan, Gracie, or bailey so we'll be upstairs. I think Dianna and Eddie are going to talk them about the possible divorce and what's going to happen.

"Amanda?" Bailey says

"Yeah?" I say

"Will Eddie still be our grandpa?" She asks

"The divorce will never stop him from being our grandpa" I tell her

"Good he's the only one we've got and he's cool" Bailey tells me

"He is pretty cool" I laugh

"I wonder what's up with our real parents" Bailey thinks aloud

"Angela's trying to divorce our dad but I don't know how far she's gotten" I tell her

"Oh" she says

"Want me to call her later?" I ask

"Yeah" Bailey says

"Sissy I go potty" Tristan says

"You know where your toilet is" I say

"Help" he says

"Bailey watch Gracie while I take him to the bathroom" I say

Tristan runs to the bathroom and I follow. He needs help undoing his pants so I help him with that the he's good to go. We're potty training him now that he's two.

"Sissy done" he says

"Good job bubba" I smile

I help him get cleaned up then we go back in my room. He keeps himself busy with a basket of stuffed animals from fans.

"Gracie looks like she's about to cry" Bailey tells me

"It's her dinner time" I say "I don't have any premade bottles so I guess don't mind me"

I take Gracie and take my shirt and bra partially off. She latches on easily so feeding her should go smoothly.

"Amanda Demi ran out the door crying, Dallas mom and dad are fighting and I'm scared" Maddie says while slightly out of breath and tears coming down her face

"Come here" I say, I have Maddie cuddle up to me and I try to comfort her the best I can while feeding Gracie

"I'm so scared" Maddie says again

"What happened down there?" I ask

"They were all screaming at each other and mom and dad brought up Patrick and Demi ran out the door crying which made Dallas more mad and I ran up here" Maddie explains

"Once Gracie's done eating I'll go find Demi, everything will be okay" I say

"I hope so" Maddie sniffles

Gracie stops eating so I get myself back together and hand her to Maddie.

"I'll be back guys, do you want to go sit in the car or something so you're not alone?" I ask

"I think we'll be okay, we'll call you if we need you" Maddie says

"Okay" I say

I grab my phone, put my shoes on and run out the door. First I text Demi then start walking. As I walk I remember that area in the woods I go to when I need to get away and head there. Noticing Demi standing by a cliff watching the water.

"Momma?" I say

"Oh hey baby girl" she says

"Are you okay?" I ask

"I will be" she sighs "I just don't understand what Patrick has to do with them"

"Who said what was said?" I ask

"My dad" Demi says

"He probably just said it at the heat of the moment you know he would never say anything to purposely hurt you" I state

"You're probably right" Demi says

"So the divorce is definite?" I ask

"Yeah" she frowns

"It'll be okay though this won't change our relationships with Eddie" I say

"You're so wise" Demi states

"I've learned it from the best" I smile

"God I love you" Demi says and pulls me into a hug. I hug her back then suggest we go back to the house.

As soon as we get back to the house everyone is silent. As I go back upstairs I hear Demi telling everyone to leave. Nobody bothers to say bye to anyone but I don't think anyone wants to talk to anyone anyway.

"Dallas left me" Bailey states

"She texted me asking if I could watch you tonight" I tell her

"Oh okay" she says

"Sissy sleepy" Tristan says

"Let's get you in bed then" i say

Tristan runs to his room with me right behind him. He hands me his dinosaur pajamas, which are his favorite. After changing his diaper Tristan climbs into bed and I kiss him goodnight. I check on Gracie who's in her crib then go back to my room. Maddie and Bailey are passed out on my bed. I take a picture then change into some pajamas. Marissa should be home any minute so I can't sleep with Demi tonight. Instead I go sleep in Maddies room.
