I can't believe marissa cheated on Demi, I never expected that to happen. Hopefully they'll make up but I don't know. My job is to keep Demi happy not fix the relationship. Shawn's coming over today since yesterday obviously wasn't a good day.
"Amanda can I borrow you're- whoa" Maddie says
"What?" I ask
"Dude you got a bump" Maddie tells me
I look in the mirror and sure enough there's a little bump. A wave of emotions comes through. I know the bump is because of the baby but the word fat keeps swimming through my mind.
"Oh my god I'm sorry I shouldn't have pointed that out" Maddie panics
"Calm down I'll be fine reality just hit me that's all" I tell her "so what do you want to borrow?"
"Oh um you're straightener, mine broke" Maddie says
"Yeah go ahead just bring it back when you're done" I say
"Thanks" Maddie says
My phone dings so I pick it up to a text from shawn.
Shawn- hey can I come over for lunch instead of dinner? My aunts coming over for dinner and I can't miss it.
Me- yeah I'm sure Demi won't mind m
Shawn- alright see ya later x
Me- bye xo
I'm glad shawn is willing to talk to me about the situation. I've been so worried he wouldn't want anything to do with me.
"Amanda Shawn's here" Maddie calls
I run downstairs and hug shawn. It feels amazing to be back in his arms.
"I missed you" I say
"I missed you too" shawn says
"So does that mean" I start to say
"I'll be here forever" shawn finishes
I hug shawn tighter then he carries me over to the couch. We cuddle up and put on a movie.
"So how about some lunch?" I ask when the movies over
"Sure" shawn says
We get up then go in the kitchen, I grab some stuff to make grilled cheese. As I make it I notice shawn looks a little uncomfortable.
"So how've you been?" I ask
"Confused, shocked, tired..." Shawn lists
"So you're okay with me keeping the baby?" I ask
"100% and I'm here from now on I won't push you away like that again" shawn says
"Good we can't have that" I smile "I'm a month and a half along"
"Wow already?" Shawn asks
"Yeah time goes by fast" I say
"I'm glad we're together I can't stand the thought of the baby growing up without us together" I say
"I can't either" shawn agrees
After eating our grilled cheese shawn heads home. I was hoping Demi would be back so she could meet him but I guess I'll invite him over again soon.
