"Will you please stop this nonsense or should I smash your face this instance." Abhay shouted while listening the nonsense jokes of his friend, Virat.

"Easy bro!! Why are you so mad at her!? She was just trying to talk to you." Virat said trying calm him down who was burning in anger.

"I don't know why these girls always have to ruin my mood.... that's why
I don't want to go anywhere and that too with you..." Abhay said gritting his teeth.

"I knew that you are going to blame me for all of this.... can't you accept your fault instead of blaming others every time??" Virat asked him annoyed.

"It wasn't my fault at all." He said in stern tone.

"Seriously, why I am even talking to you" Virat got irritated also and started watching outside the window when Abhay's phone went off.

Anisha's calling...

"Just pick up the phone" Abhay said.

"I am not" Virat said in cold tone still looking outside the window.

"You know what....just go to hell" Abhay shouted and pick up the call, holding the steering with one hand.

"Yes Princess" he said keeping his voice calm.

"Bhai where are you it's quite late??" Anisha, his only sister asked.

"I am on my way to home dear...why aren't you sleeping yet??" He asked.

"I was waiting for you??" She said.

"You don't have to...I am coming just go and rest." Abhay said.

"Okay Bhai!! drive safely.." she said and disconnected the call.

Pulling  the phone from his ears he threw it on the dashboard. He peeked at Virat from his periphery only to find his looking outside with a sullen face. Shooking his head at his antics he again turned his focus on the road. It was matter of second as he wasn't able to decipher what just happened.

Everything happened within a fraction of second. Something came in front of car like a flash and before he could apply the brake it already collided with something making the form fly into air before touching the ground.

"Shit are you okay??" Virat cursed, coming out of the car.

"Yeah!! I am fine what was that?" Abhay also hopped out of the car in order to check the damage he caused unknowingly.

"It's a girl...Oh shit. She has lost so much blood." Virat said, checking the body lying on the ground, in pools of blood.

"Check her pulse, damn it!!" Abhay said, blood rushing all over his body.

"She is alive, call the ambulance." Virat said,  checking her breath which was coming out is small puffs.

"It will take much time, just put her in the car." Abhay instructed, making him nod.

Lifting the almost lifeless form of the girl in his arms he placed it in the back seat of the car. Abhay was quick to turn the engine to life and make their way hospital.

                           

The room was daunting into silence that one can hear the sound of their own breath. Abhay stood there looking at the form lying on the hospital bed wrapped up in bandages. 

It's not like he had never seen any girl before but the girl sleeping in front of him was different. There was something in her face which was resisting Abhay to avert his gaze.

He was busy in staring when a voice snapped him out of his trace.

"Abhay!! why are you standing here!?" Virat asked when Abhay's head snapped towards him.

"All okay!?" He again asked making Abhay nod lightly.

"What about the her!?" He asked Virat who had came after meeting the doctor.

"The girl is in coma...but don't worry doctors said that she was already so much injured before the accident... So I don't think there would be any problem for us." Virat said about the girl who was all wrapped up in the bandages.

"Oh.. so when will be going to regain her consciousness!?" Abhay asked gazing at the weird girl before him.

"They aren't sure. It can take few days, some weeks or may be months." Virat said making Abhay nod.

"Let's go it's quite late" he said and the both made their way towards parking not before stealing a glance of the form sleeping behind him.

                             

Entering inside the house his went towards the stairs in order to check on Anisha when he heard the voice of his house staff, who was an old lady.

"You came dear, should I warm up the food for you!?" She asked coming in front of him.

"I am not hungry Aunty, you don't have to bother." He answered and dismissing her for the day.

Climbing up the stairs he went towards his sister's room, to make sure she was still up or asleep. Twisting the knob slowly in order to not make any noise he glanced around the dimly lit room, when his gaze fell on the sleeping form of Anisha.

A smile made it's way to his lips looking at his sister's sleeping peacefully clutching the pillow close to her chest. Moving forward he placed the duvet properly on her form before kissing the crown of her head.

Walking out of her room he closed the door lightly making his way to his own room. He was tired as hell and just wanted to hit the bed at the moment. It was a long tiring day in office.

After changing himself in something comfortable he straightly went to his bed and closed his eyes in order to get some sleep. But as soon as he closed his eyes a very unknown yet familiar feature flashed on the curtains of his mind.

His eyes shot open as he stared at the ceiling through the darkness. All the incident that happened a while ago started running in his mind like a film. Inhaling deeply he shrugged the thoughts coming in his mind and again closed his eyes letting the sleep took over him this time.

Soon enough his eyes went droopy and sleep took over him as he fell into the deep slumber oblivious that the heart he claimed to be his was not in his possession anymore.

How was the chapter. It was short I know😞.

But don't worry i am going to make next chapters more interesting so please guys bear with it.
