As the door creaks open, we see Steven, Greg, and Y/N enter through, still on about the gems and steven's powers going away.

Steven: It did something extra weird to me, and now, my powers aren't working right.

Steven tried his luck to make his shield, only for it to dissipate.

Y/N: Well actually-
Steven: There's something wrong with me, Dad. Sigh I just have no idea what's going on.
Y/N: Well the scythe spinel had-
Greg: Well, son, now you know how I feel almost all the time. But you know what else? Any moment now, the Gems are gonna do that thing where they glow and float in the air and reappear better than ever.
Y/N: I just want attention-

Suddenly, pearl's rose up, gaining the attention of the three

Greg: see, here she comes, the good old pearl!
Pearl: please identify yourself.

The gem talked

Greg: Um, Greg Universe?
Pearl: Greetings, Um Greg Universe. Please state preferred customization options.
Greg: Uh... What am I supposed to say here?
Steven: I-I don't know.
Pearl: Default setting selected. Please stand by.
Y/N: Well, here we go with the confusion, ah whatever, new friends!

Pearl soon formed, but looked different, she had different clothes, none that Y/N remembered seeing her with. She immediately moved towards Greg.

Pearl: How do you do?
My Um Greg Universe,
Thank you for bringing me into the world,

Welcome to your new Pearl!

Y/N: I don't think she was this playful looking before, might just be me though.
Steven: what's going on!?

Once again another gem started to reform this time was ruby, it soon formed and revealed the gem, though confused.

Y/N: That thing is adorable!!

Ruby immediately went into a defensive position, making you back away immediately.

Ruby: who are you!? You're not my assignment!
Greg: I need some explaining! What is going on!
Pearl: Oh! Allow me to illuminate.
Pearl: A Ruby Guard,

They tend to come in teams of three or more,

Sapphire then forms right after. Coincidentally.

A precious Sapphire,
She sees the future,
That's who the Ruby's for.

Ruby: My Sapphire. As my sworn duty and sole purpose, I will protect you with my life.
Sapphire: I know you will. That's why I predict you won't last more than a day.
Ruby: Huh?
Sapphire: Come, now.

Sapphire then moves ruby to the side, who was still confused about what she said.

Y/N: Wonder what that meant.

Soon, amethyst reforms, but much more curious and confused.

Steven: Amethyst! Hey, Amethyst?
Amethyst: Hey, Amethyst?
Steven: What? No, You're Amethyst!
Amethyst: What? No, You're Amethyst!

Pearl: You must be right,
This is an Amethyst,
Except an Amethyst is big and strong,
This one is not the best example,
Something is clearly wrong.
