The Next Morning: Beacon Courtyard

After coming back to Beacon Academy from a "memorable" night at the bandit tribe, you had a little "talk" with Ozpin and decided to head to Atlas to talk with the head of the Schnee Dust Company. And while the preparations were being made, you decided to keep your promise to Amber and show her around all of Beacon Academy. And thanks to your keen observation and memorization of aura, you were able to pinpoint every single location in Beacon and every single teacher who worked there. You managed to show all of Beacon to Amber in less than an hour.

Y(N): And finally, this is Beacon courtyard...(You gesture towards a fountain)...The main and center point of Beacon Academy where all huntsmen and huntresses in training tend to pass by, however, this place is usually empty after classes are over. So, if you want to be alone, this is the best place to come to... I should know, I come here often...(You turn to Amber) Any questions?

Amber: I just have one and it has been bothering me for a while...Why do you have the headmaster's cane?

She gestures towards Ozpin's cane which you were currently leaning on.

Y(N): It was either take his cane or his coffee mug...And since I'm not a cruel man, I decided to take his cane.

Amber: (Crosses her arms) And why would you do that?

Y(N): Let's just say that little Ozzie decided to make a decision without "certain jurisdiction" and now he has to pay the price.

Amber: Uhhh....I'm not sure I quite understand...What does that have to do with taking his cane?

Y(N): Don't worry too much about it... Oh, and I apologize for not showing you around Beacon sooner.

Amber: Don't apologize, you have been quite busy with everything that's going on. I'm just glad you kept your promise.

Y(N): I'm thankful for your understanding. And I'm glad to see that you decided to stay at Beacon.

Amber: (Gives you a kind smile) And I'm glad you convinced me to stay.

Y(N): All credit belongs to you. I just simply showed you the path, it was you who decided to take it.

Amber: (Giggles) You are far too humble, and even after everything you've done, you deserve some credit at least. You even managed to somehow change the Grimm Queen into a human.

Y(N): If it wasn't for Ozpin, she would never have made that decision to become human. I only played a small role in Salem's change towards the good side.

Amber: Then what about when you nearly died saving us from the army of Grimm? Surely you must be proud of yourself for saving all of us.

Y(N): I may have looked injured, but I was just exhausted from using my powers. I also would never have done what I did, if you and everyone else did not buy us time to make it to Salem. You, Cinder, Glynda, Emerald, Mercury, Neo, and Roman, all of you fought off hordes of Grimm to allow us safe passage to Salem's castle. All of you deserve the credit for that day, not me.

Amber: I don't understand...Why do you belittle yourself? You have done so much good, so why do you continue helping and saving, even when you know that you won't receive anything in return?

Y(N): I do it because it's the right thing to do. I have no need for rewards or recognition, all I want to do is save this world.
