What Do You Hide Away

In my heart there lies a box,

bedecked with many locks,

only I possess the key,

or so I thought with certainty,

Until the fated day,

Came along bewitching fae,

A beauty unaware,

her presence like a snare,

snatched away the key,

I'd hid so fervently,

Now with it in hand,

She has come to understand,

In my heart there lies a box,

bedecked with many locks,

open now for her to see,

filled full of memories,

impressed upon my core,

shows all those who came before,

that took a look inside the box,

and set another lock.
