"I love you mom" I whispered giving her a big hug.

"I love you too honey. I still can't believe my baby is going to Princeton" she smiled.

"I can't either" I mumbled.

"I love you dad" I whispered hugging him,

"If you get the chance, change those tickets to New York Okay?" He whispered.

"I will" I whispered finding myself coming to tears.

"I love you guys" I said wiping my tears away.

I walked away from the people who raised me.

"Bye" I waved at them once I got to the entrance.

I walked into the check in line for Delta to check in my big bag.

I held in the tears that were threatening to fall away. I was leaving this place, alone. And I never wanted to leave him. Never.

After I checked in my bag I went to the security. My bag got pulled over for nothing causing a delay.

I quickly made my way to my gate which is B17.

I sat in one of the chairs waiting to bored.

I shut my phone on airplane mode and continued listening to music through my headphones.

11 years ago...

I ran away from Reece so he wouldn't tag me. I found myself sitting in a blue tunnel.

I looked over and saw Grayson smiling at me.

"Gray? Shh don't let Reece find us!" I whisper shouted at him.

"What if he finds us and catches us?"

"Don't worry, I'll protect you" he put his arm over my shoulder.

"Where's one place you've always wanted to go little Mara?" He asked me making me blush.

"New York" I answered.

"I'll take you one day" he whispered.

"Promise?" I said.

"Promise" he assured me.

Our faces were so close to each other's and before I knew it he had leaned in and kissed me.

It was something from a Disney movie. Except I didn't turn into a frog.

We pulled away and were staring into each other's eyes.

"I see you guys!" Reece yelled chasing us. We ran out of the tunnel and away from him.

Present time...

I found myself tearing up at the memory.

He had promised to take me. Come on Gray can't you keep a promise?

I wiped my tears up in silence.

I had just boarded the plane and fastened my seat belt.
