Prom...

I was getting ready at the house despite Reece still not speaking to me.

Mom wanted us to do photos like it was alright. I'm sure Reece would smile for the pictures, not me.

"Here's your dress" Kelsey handed my dress to me.

We made a deal about a month ago that we would pick each other's outfit.

"Here's yours" I handed it to her.

I opened mine and my jaw dropped.

"You know me so well" I gawked at the dress in front of me.

It was a beautiful long red dress. It was stunning.

She opened hers and had a big grin on her lips.

"You know me so well too" she gave me a fistbump.

We both changed into our dresses.

"Holy shit you look amazing!" I said to her.

"Are you kidding?! Look at yourself!" She exclaimed making me smile.

We started to do our makeup. Kelsey did my eyeshadow and made it gold. It really brought out my eyes.

I then did her a smoky eye. And it was almost go time.

"Wow we look amazing"

We gave each other a high five on our stunning work.

"You Ready?" She asked.

"Yea" I lied.

Too much was going to happen tonight for me to be ready.

"Let's go" She said.

We walked downstairs and I saw Grayson waiting for me at the end. Of course Reece was waiting for Kelsey.

Grayson pulled out a red corsage.

"How did you know I was going to be wearing red?" I asked him with a wide smile.

"I asked Kelsey, duh" he says making me chuckle.

"You and Kelsey has a civilized conversation? Shocked" I said making him roll his eyes at me.

"You are gorgeous every single day so this is nothing new." He pulled me in putting our foreheads against each other.

"But everyday, my love grows for you" he whispers before pressing his lips on mine.

Mine does too.

"Photo time!" My mom shouted snapping us out of our daze.

We all went outside to start taking photos.

"First all four of you" mom said.

We all huddled together with me and Kelsey in the middle.

And I was right, Reece did only put on a smile for the photos.

"Okay now just Kelsey and Reece"

Grayson and I stepped away.

Reece looked genuinely happy this time.

How could I take away the person that caused that happiness?

"Okay now you two!"

Grayson and I took a bunch of photos. Ones with silly faces, kisses, stupid poses.

"Now just the girls"

Kelsey and I did a bunch of poses and faces together that caused a lot of laughter from us.
