Chapter 40

Amri's POV 

Everyone was sad. I was sad. I saw adam hold the boys close to him. He loved them. I saw him talk to the boys and say he would never let anything happen. I saw adam walk into their nursery. I was supposed to be a surprise for me and it was beautiful. He cried after he put the boys down for a nap. There was nothing i wanted to do more than hug him. 

''I need to go back'' i said 

''you can't'' she said 

''luke put me somewhere i can feel it the way they did with my father and my father came back'' i said 

''amri we have tried for decades to get back but instead we just found peace'' she said 

''then why are you here'' i said 

''when you pulled my son back to life i wanted to see you reunite with him so ive been watching over ever since Sylian died as well her soul is now alone and suffering as she tried to make us do'' she said 

''good to know she's dead for sure'' i said 

''there's so much you don't understand'' she said 

''what does that mean'' i said 

''your children are in danger'' she said 

''how'' i said 

''sylian was smart she knew it was her time and after you killed ken she welcomed it those people you killed weren't even the half of them she knew what was to come but she thought she would see ken'' she said 

''and how are my kids involved'' i said 

''she had her men follow an order she said after the babies are born put a bounty on their head whoever kills the babies will get a reward no one can refuse'' she said 

''and whats that'' i said 

''the heads of the people who killed their family members in the massacre at the councils.'' she said 

''me and luke'' i said 

''one's dead and it wont be long before your kids and luke are dead as well'' she said 

''i need to go back and whether you help me or not i will'' i said and i walked away

After a couple days passed by it was my funeral and i gathered my strength and i grabbed luke into a room and he freaked out. 

''who's there'' he said and looked around. 

''luke focus'' i said and he couldn't hear me so i pushed harder. 

''focus!'' i yelled and he stopped. 

''amri?'' he said and i grabbed his shoulder.

''luke it's me'' i said and he turned around and he looked at me. 

''how how is this possible'' he said and tears formed in his eyes. 

''luke i don't have time to explain but i need you to pull me from your side and im gonna push from mine and i need you to do this for me and i will come back'' i said 

''how i tried and it didn't work'' he said 

''because now i have the spell to push from my side luke we need to get this to work or else something bad is gonna happen and i need to come back'' i said and he nodded 

''good i have to go to my body but you start the spell'' i said and he nodded and i told him what he needed. I went to my body and they were burying it already. 

''no no no no!'' i said 

''luke i hope you started'' i said and i started pushing from my side and i started the spell. 

I felt luke pulling me and so i pushed to go back and gave more power but it felt like i was slipping. 

''i can help'' i heard and i saw my dad's mom. 

''you said it wouldn't work'' i said 

''we didn't have someone strong on both sides now did we'' she said and smiled and she grabbed my hand and helped me with the spell. 

They started putting the dirt in and i felt myself connecting to my body again. 

''this is the part where we say our goodbye's'' she said 

''thank you for everything'' i said and hugged her. 

''now go before it's too late'' she said and i got in the casket and i saw my body. I grabbed my arm and i was pulled. 

I opened my eyes and gasped for air. I felt the dirt get heavier and heavier and i blew the casket open and pushed up the dirt. I climbed out and adam helped. 

''amri!'' he said 

''im good im good'' i said and he hugged me and luke ran outside. 

''it worked'' i said and smiled and i hugged luke. 

''thank you'' i said 

''anyone want to explain what the hell just happened'' dad said and hugged me

''but im glad you are back.'' he said 

''yeah we need to talk'' i said 

''and you are not gonna like it'' i said and we all went inside where i saw my boys.

''oh my god'' i said and adam's mom handed them and put them in my arms. 

''oh how i missed you'' i said and kissed their foreheads gently. 

I put them in their cribs and i smiled. 

''so how is this possible'' kira said and everyone sat down. 

''well when i died i felt darkness it was horrible but then your mom showed up'' i said and looked at dad.

''she explained to me what happened and i saw everything and i am so sorry for putting you through that'' i said 

''you saw us?'' andrew said 

''everyone i saw everyone cry and mourn and it was the worst thing i could ever see or feel.'' i said 

''your mom told me what happened after sylian died and it's not over'' i said 

''sylian has a bounty on our kids head who ever kills them gets mine and lukes dead but seeing as they already know im dead they were just looking forward to lukes so we have an advantage'' i said 

''and i will be damned if anyone lays a finger on my kids'' i said 

''protection spell we can cloak them as well'' dad said 

''we are not running'' i said 

''i've done enough running away its time to stay and fight the kids will be safe here we will protect them'' i said 

I heard someone zip in and i saw levi. He then fainted.

''well looks like he saw a ghost'' andrew said and we all looked at him. 

''what too soon'' he said and smiled.......
