Chapter 27

Amri's POV

I woke up next to Adam and i smiled. I looked at him and examined his face and i saw his little scar on the side of his eye and i smiled he was so handsome. 

''you are staring'' he said and i chuckled. 

''im gazing'' i said and smiled and he opened his eyes. 

''you are creeping'' he said and he chuckled

''shut up'' i said and got up and grabbed my shoes.

''i have to get home i have a party to throw'' i said and smiled 

''party?'' he said 

''hybrid's are coming today and moving in and i need to go help set up'' i said and he smiled

''would you love to come?'' i said 

''is the amri grimaldi asking me to be her plus one to her party'' he said and smiled and i chuckled.

''yes are you gonna say yes or what'' i said and smiled 

''i'd love to'' he said and smiled and he got up and gave me a kiss. 

''mm'' i said 

''what'' he said 

''nothing just wish i could stay here and be with you but i have to go'' i said and sighed

''there is always tomorrow'' he said and smiled and he kissed my forehead. 

''see you later'' i said and smiled and i walked out of the house and got in my car and i drove home. 

I got home and i walked in and i went upstairs and i took a shower and got dressed. I walked downstairs and saw everyone preparing for tonight. 

''where is luke?'' i said 

''outside doing the lights'' kira said 

I walked outside and i saw luke and levi hanging up lights and everyone else setting up tables. 

''well whats a party without a dance floor'' i said and i waved my hand and made a dance floor. 

''well hello sister'' luke said 

''the lights look amazing'' i said and smiled 

''thanks'' he said and came next to me.

''so we have everything in place food drinks snacks for the kids and the kid section all set up we put a play ground and got them ponies and stuff you know that kids like'' he said and chuckled. 

''okay thats good when are they coming'' i said 

''in an hour they will be coming in all day'' he said and i nodded

''we can have members help them with their belongings and help them feel at home'' i said and he nodded

''of course nothing but a warm welcome'' he said 

''adam is joining us tonight'' i said and he looked at me and i heard something fall and i looked at levi and he had dropped some lights. 

''amri can we talk inside'' luke said and i nodded. 

We walked inside upstairs to my room and he closed the doors and spelled it so no one can listen.

''you sure thats a good idea amri'' he said 

''why wouldn't it be?'' i said 

''because the guy who is still in love with you is gonna be no less than a few feet from him'' he said and i sighed

''look luke i know this is hard but im trying to get into this whole mate business and he knew already'' i said and he sighed.

''i know'' he said 

''then it's settled adam is coming'' i said and walked out of my room. 

I finished helping set up the party and i went upstairs and got dressed and then i helped everyone come in through the boarder and then adam came in. I smiled. 

''wow you look gorgeous'' he said and smiled 

''thank you'' i said and smiled and we walked in the house. 

''this looks amazing and it smells good too'' he said 

''thank you'' he said 

''this must be adam'' kira said and smiled 

''this is'' i said and smiled 

''nice to meet the beautiful best friend'' he said and smiled 

''so im guessing she told you i like compliments'' she said and he chuckled

''smart'' she said 

''i like him'' kira said 

''good'' i said and smiled 

''where is your sister?'' i said 

''she's on her way with elijah and tyler'' he said and i nodded

''well lets get this party started'' i said and smiled. 

We all had a great time and i saw adam's siblings show up.

''im glad you made it'' i said and smiled and i hugged maddy. 

''im glad i came it feels amazing to be around people who are like me'' she said and smiled 

''please make yourself welcome'' i said and smiled. 

''thank you'' she said and i went inside and gathered some snack bowls. I turned around and i saw levi. 

''oh hey'' i said and smiled. 

''why would you bring him here'' he said and i put the bowls down.

''i brought him because he is my mate'' i said 

''i don't care what he is amri it hurts me get him out of here'' he said 

''im not making my mate leave so if i were you i'd watch your mouth'' i said and growled and he stepped closer to me. 

''get him out of here or i will hurt him'' he said and i waved my hand and gave him a aneurysm and he screamed out in pain. 

''i said watch your mouth'' i growled and i grabbed the bowls and walked out. 

''what happened?'' kira said 

''levi threatened adam'' i said 

''what the hell why'' she said 

''because he's hurt and now i don't give a damn what he feels i want him out of here'' i said and i walked to the table and put the bowls down and put chips in them. 

''what's on your mind beautiful'' adam said and hugged me from behind. 

''just people pissing me off.'' i said and sighed

''you think levi's little threat scares me love'' he said and chuckled

''you heard'' i said 

''yes i did and also heard you hurt him'' he said and chuckled. 

''he threatened you'' i said and he smiled

''i've heard million's of threats'' he said and chuckled

''i still have a burning feeling to protect you'' i said and he smiled 

''and i you beautiful but it is okay'' he said and kissed my head and i smiled.

''okay'' i said 

We enjoyed the rest of the night and partied with everyone......
