It's the middle of the night and Adeline Miller and her husband are getting their newest additions to the family ready for bed after a nightmare when the phone rings, she walks over to it and picks it up- holding Harry in her arms and bouncing him up and down.

"Hello, Miller residence." Her British accent greets into the phone, her voice tired from it being early hours of the morning.

"Hi, I'm looking for Adeline? Is this her?" The voice asks through the phone.

"Yes, this is Adeline." She replies.

"Oh, right. Hi Adeline. It's Mike Hanlon."

"Mike Hanlon? As in home-school?" She asks. She can hear the shock on the other end in his voice.

"You remember me?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I? We were friends back in Derry." She replies, confused why he would think she wouldn't remember him.

"Well, I called the others and they didn't remember who I was until I mentioned Derry."

"Oh, well. I remember. I mean I gave my son your name as a middle name, so I hope I should remember you." She comments absentmindedly as she rocks Harry to sleep.

"You did?"

"Yeah." She replies.

"How many kids?"

"Five." She replies. "I know, it's a lot. But I couldn't really help it when I had two sets of twins."

"Wow, you sound happy."

"Yeah, I am." She says, she then looks down to the boy almost sleeping in her arms. "One sec, Mike." She then takes the phone away from her mouth, but Mike can still hear. "Hey, Nate? Can you put Harry in the crib, he's almost asleep." Her husband walks into the room.

"Of course." He replies taking the sleeping child and giving his wife a kiss on the cheek. "Who's on the phone?"

"An old friend." She says. He nods.

"Alright. I'll be in the bedroom. See you soon." He says, as he walks out the room with Harry. She then goes back to the phone.

"Hey, Mike. Sorry about that. How can I help you?" She asks.

"I haven't told the others, except Stan because he guessed. But since you seem to remember. It's about the promise we made September 1988. We said we would come back if IT ever came back, and IT has. Lana, we need you here."

"IT's back?" She asks sitting in the closest chair, her voice small.

"Yeah. I'm sorry to bring you away from your family, but we all promised and I've called all the others. They're all coming."

"Alright. Can I leave in the morning? Nathan's got work, so I'll have to drop my kids off at my mother's. And then book a flight." She tells him.

"Yeah, that's fine. Flight? I didn't realise you went back to England."

"Yeah, I did. Didn't you realise that you called an English number?" She asks with a small laugh.

"No, I guess I'm so tired that I didn't realise. See you tomorrow, Lana."

"See you tomorrow, Mike." She replies, putting the phone down. She looks to it for a moment, and then the fear settles in. She's going to have to go back and face her fear, face all her fears. Leave her family for god-knows how long. She goes up to the room, and her husband turns to her and sees her tears.

"What's happened?" He asks.

"Nate, I have to leave for a while." She says.

"Leave? Leave to where? When? How long?" He asks.

"Back to my old town, Derry. Tomorrow. And about how long, no longer than two weeks. Something's happened there and when I was younger I made a promise and now I have to deliver on my end. I promise it's not dangerous." She tells him.

"What about the kids?" He asks.

"I'll drop them off at my mothers on the way." She replies. He pulls her in for a hug.

"I can look into your eyes and see that there's more to the story, but I won't push you for an answer. Just promise me to text me and check in, then ring me to speak to the kids." He replies.

"I will, I promise." She replies, giving him a kiss.
