The walk home from school with Seungmin was silent.
And not just for me.
Neither of us spoke. It looked like Seungmin was lost in thought, so I kept quiet. He was coming over to my house to hangout, so I'll talk to him about it at home. If he wants to, of course.
My dad wasn't home yet, and Jisung wouldn't be out of detention for a few hours.
We walked into my house and into my room, then sat on my bed.
I'm gonna speak to him. It'll be easier for him to understand what I'm saying if I use my words and not asl. I hope he can hear me alright. It's easier for him at least.
"Seungmin," I started. "Is something on your mind?"
He scrunched his face. "Yeah, Min. There is."
I stared at my bed, feeling awkward. I waited till his lips stopped moving before I spoke.
"So, what is bothering you?"
His face dropped. "I'm just thinking about Hyunjin again."
"You're serious?" I asked.
He nodded. "I'm just thinking, even though you said he likes me, how can I be sure?"
I laughed. "It's obvious!"
"What's obvious?"
I can't believe Seungmin doesn't notice how much Hyunjin likes him. It's ridiculous.
"Oh my God Seungmin! Trust me, he likes you okay?"
Seungmin only shrugged. "Even if so, my parents will flip out if they know I like boys. I won't be their 'perfect little Seungmin' anymore. I'll never hear the end of it."
I frowned. Now he has a point. I don't know if Seungmin will ever come out to anyone but me. He is just so nervous about what others will think of him, and it's upsetting.
"Don't freak out over it, Seungmin. It's not something that should stress you out so much," I assured him with a smile.
Seungmin sighed. "Okay, you're right. I can totally handle this. It's okay."
I took a deep breath. "Are you sure?"
He nodded. "If I need help, you're the first person I'll go to, okay?"
"Okay."
We then hugged.

The current time period of the story may start getting confusing because so much will happen in one day, and there will be day/week skips so please pay attention! I don't wanna get paranoid that y'all are possibly confused okay :(
