Julia's POV

I woke up early this morning feeling determined to get my home back to normal

I went to my wardrobe, picked my clothes and headed for the bathroom

I took a quick shower, dried myself and wore my casual clothes

I was dressed in relaxed jeans and a simple white tee-shirt

I went downstairs and into the kitchen

That's when I remembered that I hadn't picked up Chantal yesterday

I ran upstairs as quickly as I could to get my phone

As soon as I got it, I called the mother of Chantal's friend

She told me that Rosemary had picked up Chantal last night, I thanked her for everything and hung up

Then I called Rosemary

"Hey, girl, how was date yesterday?" She asked and as soon as the words left her mouth, everything came rushing back

I remembered all about yesterday, how Gregory spent the night with Celine and left me all alone

I remained silent, not trusting myself to speak

"Julia? You still there?" Rosemary said

"Um...yeah....what are you doing now?" I decided to change the subject

"Getting Chantal ready for school. Julie, what's going on? What happened yesterday?" She asked, not willing to drop it

"He.." I tried smiling so that I won't cry "he....spent the night with her"

"What?" Rosemary almost yelled

I said nothing

"That son of a..." She paused "sorry, not helping"

"Don't worry, I'm fine" I said, reassuringly

"I'll drop Chantal at her school and I'll be right there"

"Rosemary...." She hung up just when I was going to tell her it wasn't necessary

I decided to make my breakfast and start immediately on my work

I love my job, it takes my mind of everything in the real world

I read materials that clients want to publish and make sure it is accessible to the public

Yup, I'm a proof reader and a writer sometimes

I made toasted bread, fried egg and sausages

I started work while I had breakfast

I finished the 3 texts that were sent to me in 1 and a half hour as 2 out of 3 were tossed

I sent my review to my boss and closed my laptop
I got up to go to the kitchen

I did the dishes and went back into the living room

I didn't know what to do, so I got my phone and checked my page

Nothing was new

Few minutes later, Rosemary bust through the door and I regretted giving her a key

Rosemary and Diego both have a spare key to our house

"Calm down girl, I'm not dying" I stated bluntly "do you want to break down the door? "

"Oh" her concerned face shifted to a surprised one "you are not freaking out? "
