Julia's POV

The week went really fast and before I knew what hit me, it was time to go back home

I saw Celine 4 times within the week and now it was time to go

She was also supposed to leave today but my flight was earlier
...

My flight was exhausting but the excitement of seeing Chantal again overthrew that

I went to the parking lot where I had parked my car and picked it up

The first place I went to was Rosemary's house as I really wanted to see Chantal

"Mum!!!" Chantal squeaked with excitement putting a smile on my face immediately

"Sweetheart!" I cried smiling like I hadn't seen her in years but that's what a week without her does to a mother

She immediately ran to hug me as I stretched out my hands ready to pick her up

I picked her up throwing her up into the air and catching her 3 times in a row

"Mum, how many times will I have to tell you, I am no more a baby, I'm a young lady now" she stated giving me a pointed look

"Okay" I chuckle "I'm sorry, I forgot how grown my baby is now" I say and she smiles

"So, tell me, how a much did you miss me?" She asks with a wide smile

"More than you can imagine, baby" I say leaning in to hug her

Pulling away she gives me a look that says 'now correct yourself' I smile realizing what she means

"Young lady" I correct myself earning a smile from her

"Not that I want to interrupt your reunion but hey" she smiles stretching out her arms indicating she wants a hug "there's someone else who missed you"

I made my way over to her with a smile. Giving her a warm embrace I say "I missed you too, thanks for taking care of Chantal"

"No problem, she had always been a great company" she says with a smile now facing Chantal

I spent a few hours at Rosemary's house before heading to mine with Chantal

I enjoyed the ride home as Chantal had a lot of stories about her week and I've always enjoyed listening to my princess

Immediately I opened the door, I was meet with the sweet smell of bacon, egg and cheese.

"Wow, mum, dad's made dinner" Chantal squeaks from the kitchen "and it looks promising"she claps in excitement

I follow the smell into the dining room and was amazed at the sight of all the dishes on the table

"Look mum there's pork" Chantal exclaimed, she loves pork just like her dad

I was really surprised at all the dishes in front of me. Bacon, steak, pork, lamb, cheese, rice and a lot more

What's even more intriguing is that Gregory made all this, he hates cooking, he makes delicious dishes when he wants to but he avoids cooking like it's an allergy

Why did he make this? Is he about to tell us about Celine? Will he leave me for her on our wedding anniversary and Valentine's day? Will he leave her.....

"I missed you so much, dad" Chantal shouted running up to Gregory who was just coming out of the kitchen dressed in a casual blue jeans and a wine T-shirt, he looked as handsome as ever

"Hey, and how is my lovely wife doing?"He asked as he walked up to me

"Not bad, exhausted from traveling" I replied flatly

"Okay, let's have dinner and I'll fix you a warm bath so, you can have a long peaceful night" he said and I can't help but wonder why he doesn't even leave the slightest evidence that he is cheating on me

He acts like everything is fine but it's not, I know it's not

We had dinner and Chantal was of to take a shower while Gregory set up the bath tub for me like he promised

Gregory tucked Chantal in while I made my way into the bathroom in our room

I had a long shower as the water soothed my skin and I was off to bed choosing not to think about anything that want necessary
