*Hayes's pov*
"I call window seat!" Nash yelled as we walked to the plane in the terminal.
"Nash, no." Juliet said.
"Why not?"
"Because I want the window seat." She smiled.
"That's not fair!" Nash said.
"Yeah! I wanted the window seat too." I said.
"You know what? I'm getting it since I'm the only girl."
"But what if I wanted it?" Matt butted in our conversation.
"Let's rock, paper, scissors this. Juliet versus Hayes and I'll go against Matt." Nash explained and I faced Juliet.
"Don't you think this is a little childish?" She asked.
"Who cares?" Nash yelled.
"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot." I said and she held out paper as I held out rock.
"Fuck." I mumbled and she smiled.
Nash was the winner between him and Matt.
"Let's do this." Nash said, and she nodded.
"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" They both yelled.
Nash won.
"Window seat, here I come." Nash said as we entered the plane and walked to our seats.
I put my luggage and carry on in the top of our seats and sat down.
The seats were Nash, Juliet, and I. Then Matt sat in the beginning of the other row.
The plane was just getting ready to take off, and I grabbed Juliet's hand.
"Scared?" I asked.
"A little nervous." She answered.
"When was the last time you were on a plane?"
"When I was eight and was running away from my dad with my mom." She said, and I winced.
"Oh, sorry. Look on the bright side," I said as I kissed her hand,"I'm here." This made her laugh.
"I'm so lucky, then." I joked and he nodded.
"You have no idea." He laughed.
She rested my head on my shoulder as the plane started tipping upwards.
*****later*****
Her eyes fluttered open as the plane dipped down.
"Good thing you're awake. We're landing soon." I said and she smiled.
"Am I really going to California?" She asked and I laughed.
"Of course we are." I said, and she hugged me from the side. I wrapped my arm around her.
"I don't know where my mom is." She said, and it was the first time she mentioned her since the note.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"You don't have to be." She sighed and kissed my cheek.
"I like you a lot." I said and she blushed.
"I also like you a lot." She said and she kissed me.
I always loved the way she kissed me, it wasn't like anything else.
It was like putting on clothes right out of the dryer.
It felt like a fall day, which are the best.
She made me feel some type of way that the other people I've been with didn't make me feel.
Kissing her was like our first kiss when I stole her homework and begged her to kiss me.
The plane was landing and we decided to wake Nash and Matt.
Matt was in the row next to us, and Juliet woke him up first.
He opened his eyes but went back to sleep.
She decided to wake up Nash instead.
"Nash! Wake up!" She yelled and smacked him.
He almost fell out of his chair. His eyes shot open and he caught himself.
"Are we landing soon?" He asked and I laughed.
"No actually, we have a few hours." I said and Nash looked out of the window since he had the window seat.
"I don't have time for your sarcasm, Has." He rolled his eyes and Juliet laughed.
"Has? Really?" She asked and I shrugged.
"Do you have a better nickname?"
"Poo Bear." Matt yelled from his seat.
*Juliet's pov*
"This is the place!" Nash said as he opened the door to an apartment and he set his stuff down on an empty floor.
"Nice." I said, and it echoed.
"Echo..." I yelled.
"Everyone does that." Nash said and I laughed.
"Sorry."
I put my stuff down on a counter and walked up the stairs.
I opened the first door and there was Cameron.
"Cameron Dallas!" I yelled and he scooped me up and hugged me.
"Juliet Collins!" He yelled as he twirled me around.
"How was life?" He asked after he put me down.
"Better now that I'm here. There was so much-"
That was when I remembered.
I forgot about Lesley and Michelle.
"Shit!" I yelled as I took out my phone.
I dialed Lesley's number and added Michelle to the call. I walked downstairs.
"Guys I am so sorry." I said.
"You didn't tell me you were moving.." Lesley said.
"Not really moving-" I said.
"More like leaving." Michelle finished for me.
"Look guys I'm sorry I didn't tell you but a lot was happening and I just wanted to get away." I said.
"We should've been the first people you told." Lesley said.
"Yeah Juliet, I mean why would you want to run away? You had everything here." Michelle said.
"I'm here with Matt, Nash, Hayes, and Cam-"
"Matt's there too?!" Lesley said.
Oh shit.
"I didn't say Matt... I said rat! There's a rat in here.." I tried to cover it up.
That was when Lesley hung up.
"Michelle please don't hang up on me." I cried. The anger was building inside of me.
"Juliet I don't know what to do. You left and so did Shawn." She said.
"He's not there anymore?" I asked.
"There's some things that you don't know that you should." She said.
That was when I threw my phone at the wall.
