Juliet's POV

When I woke up, I was in my apartment, and it was already morning.

I rushed over to the guest room.

"Matt?" I said softly.

"Yeah, Juliet?" He opened the door.

I hugged him.

"I'm so sorry." I said.

"You don't have to be. Hayes was being an idiot. He thinks that he's the only guy you need in your life, and how stupid he was when he talked to you." He laughed.

"He was being stupid. I don't think I'll be able to forgive him, Matt." I said.

"He was crying after you left. He kept saying that he was stupid and he loved you. Please forgive him." Matt said.

"You're such a good friend." I smiled.

"Call him, please." Matt said.

I nodded and walked back into my room.

"Do I have to call him?" I yelled.

"At least talk to him!" Matt said.

"I'd rather talk to Michelle!" I said.

"Then talk to Michelle!"

I dialed her number.

"Hey girl!"

"Hey! Let's hang out today." I said.

"Yeah! Want to get fro-yo?" She asked.

"Yeah, meet me at YoGo Factory at 12." I said.

"Okay, bye!" She said as she hung up.

At least I have something to get my mind off of Hayes.

Hayes's POV

I was crying really hard from last night. My eyes hurt looking at the sun, my throat hurt, and my cheeks felt blotchy.

I can't believe myself. I lost the only girl I cared about.

I checked my phone to see if she texted me. No answers, even though I left her 14 voicemails.

Someone knocked on my door.

"Hey little bro." Nash said.

"Go away." I mumbled.

"It's not my fault you screwed up." He said.

"You don't understand." I said.

"You think I haven't been through this? Remember Ashley? I still can't forget about her." Nash said. Ashley was Nash's ex-girlfriend.

"She's the one that got away." I laughed.

"Just because she got away for me doesn't mean Juliet will get away from you." Nash said.

"You don't get it. I let her go! I was the one that screwed up! She didn't leave me because of moving to a stupid town in New Jersey. I'm probably won't get her back now." I cried.

"You just have to apologize, send her flowers, do anything you can to get her back." He said.

"I-I don't think I can..." I said.

"You have to." Nash said.

When was he the master of advice?

"I'm leaving." I said as I walked out of my room.

I grabbed my moccasins and my penny board. I walked out with my plain black shirt and plaid pajama pants.

I needed something to eat.
