Juliet's POV

It was after school and I took the subway to downtown New York City, because that's where the Coffee Corner is, and that's where I had to meet Jacob.

I took a seat at the table in front of the big window. I set my Polaroid down on the table, I put my earbuds in, and I observed the outside.

The leaves were falling in the park across the street, and people were walking fast to their next destination.

I rest my head on my hand and sipped some of my coffee.

That's when a flash of light stunned me. I took out my earbuds.

"That was perfect!" Jacob smiled as he handed me my Polaroid back.

The picture came out exactly how I wanted it to.

"Thanks! You're turn." I said as I put my Polaroid away and followed Jacob to the park.

He handed me his Polaroid and he posed in front of the tree with his guitar.

I took the photo.

"Model status." I laughed as I saw the photo come out.

"This photo's cool. Thanks." He said as I handed him his camera back.

"I have to get ready for a date now." We both said at the same time.

"What? Who with?" I asked.

"Mahogany." He smiled.

"Aw, that's cute! Where are you two going?" I asked.

"We're going to watch a movie." He said.

"Cool. I have no idea where Hayes is taking me but I guess I'll figure out soon. I'll see you later." I laughed as I walked home.

I made it back to the lobby and went up the elevator. I unlocked my door and started to get ready.

I put on some music and put on some mascara, and eyeliner.

I texted Hayes.

Me: so what am I suppose to wear?

Hayes: be prepared for cold weather.

So I put on a white top, a black skater skirt, white knee socks, my black Doc Martins. I put on a maroon scarf and grabbed my purse.

Someone knocked on the door.

I opened it.

"Are you ready?" Hayes asked.

"Yeah." I said as I closed my door behind me, locked it, and followed Hayes out.

"Can you finally tell me where we're going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He grinned as we got into the taxi.

"Where to?" The taxi driver asked.

I looked at Hayes and smiled.

"Cover your ears, Julie." He stuck his tongue out at me and I rolled my eyes.

I put two fingers in each ear, and just my luck he whispered to the driver.

We started to drive and he took the fingers out of my ears.

"You can take those out now." He laughed.

"If I have to do one more thing..."

"Oh yeah! Cover your eyes." He said.

"What?"

"Actually, I have a bandana-"

"Where'd you get that? It doesn't matter, I'm not covering my eyes." I said.
