CHAPTER 2
It was the big day, the Christmas party. It began at seven pm, and now was nine o'clock in the morning. Katy was still sleeping, my mom and dad were in other city, but they said that they will be at the party, and Mark was at his friends because he said he will help us with the music and we will meet him there because we need to repeat together, he is singing instrumental and me and Katy are the vocals,and four other girl will do the back singing.
I went to prepare my lunch and when I get down I feel like someone was watching me, but when Katy appeared that feeling stopped. That was kind of awkward.
"Good morning sis, how are you this morning?" she asked
"Mmm, good!" I said.
"Ok tell me what is happening to you?" she asked like she is reading my mind.
Ok, really was I so obvious? I thought I better not tell her.
"Nothing, I am just a little bit tired!"
"Well you still have time to sleep..."
"No, I am okay."
I know that someone really was watching me, but I didn't want to scare her. When we finished eating we went to our brother. When we arrived they were playing a song, it was very nice, they were really talented.
"Hello boys, how are the songs?" I asked
"Hi Alice, Katy, very good, and by the way, I wanted to ask you, how many songs we need to sing so we can know which to repeat."
The one who asked me is the best friend of my brother, his name is Sam.
"Let choose five together, the best songs there." Katy said
"Ok." Sam respond
Then we were choosing the songs, but it wasn't so simple because many song were great. It was five o'clock and we need to change and get ready for the party. Me and Katy, need to return back home because we didn't have the clothes there and we will meet with the guys at the party. We changed and went to school. We arrived and was six and twelve minutes.
The time went so fast and the people start coming. The party was outside, and we meet there the boys. Half hour passed and almost everyone was there.
"Alice, we need to start now because many people are waiting and excited to see what is the big show." Said Katy.
"But is not everyone here, I don't see the new guy that needed to come."
"Who cares!" said Victor a stupid friend of my brother
"I care." I snapped.
"Maybe we really need to start, because, you know, he is just one and here an many people waiting." Mark said
"Ok, you're right." I approved him
Then we start the "concert" , and I was sad because I really wanted to see the new student. And in the middle of the first song I saw a boy that have long black hair, ok, wasn't very long, it was to his neck, he had something that I never seen, he had brown-red eyes and they were kind of scary and he had a sad face, he wasn't smiling and he was looking at me worried and I don't know why, I don't even know him!
When the show was over I went to say hello, and he was talking with Miss Linzy. Is like they already knew each other. Many girls were staring at him, I heard one saying 'He is so hot, I wonder who he is!' the person who said that was like the bitch of the school, sadly in every school there is one.
"Hi, my name is Alice, nice to meet you!" I said, standing in front of him.
"Hi, I'm Matt." He responded
He had a very beautiful voice, is so weird to say that, but is true.
"Did you like the show?" I asked
"Yes, you have a very beautiful voice." He said
"Thank you." I blushed.
"And who was that person that was singing with you?" he asked.
"She is my sister, Katy!"
"Really." And that wasn't a question.
"Yes, why you asked?"
"I was just interested to know."
He had a face like he know her from somewhere. These few days were so awkward, I would really like to know what the hell is happening.
"Ok, I need to go to my sister know, see you later." I said
"Bye."
Then I headed towards Katy.
"Where did you go? Katy asked
"I talked with the new student , you should meet him."
"Mm, yeah, maybe later, ok?"
"Ok, now let's eat something, I'm hungry." I said
"Let 's eat then." Katy said
Then, when I looked back, Matt wasn't there, did he went home already? Well it was his choice.
I was sad because my parents weren't there, and they said that they will be Katy didn't care about that, she was happy talking to other girl, but I could see on her face that something was worrying her.
The party was over and I went with Katy home, Mark wanted to stay at his friends because he said that he didn't have what to do with us, and he was right. When we arrived home we fall asleep and I woke up at three o'clock afternoon, how much time I slept, wow.
"Good afternoon Alice, how was your sleep?" Katy asked
"Mm, good but I slept very much and I am still so tired."
"Maybe you should go and sleep more!"
"No, it's-" but before I could finish Katy dragged me to my room,
"It's okay Katy, I don't want to sleep more!"
"It's our free time now, sleep how much you want, bye!"
Then she left the room and I was on my bed, I really couldn't get up I was too tired, but I slept so much, what the hell! And why Katy wanted me, to go to sleep, so much? But before I try to answer my own question I fall asleep.
