Bakugo hums lightly towards the radio that was playing the living room. He was trying to keep himself busying while Kaminari was out on a just-short-notice mission.
" Fuckin unbelievable— " He mutters, slightly pissed at how this was supposed to be their day to go out together and just have a good time.
But some villain decides to come by and sweep all of that away.
He knew ' Kami ' would be fine, he always was but he was just worried it would take all night.
Relief washes over him as he hears from the radio that the villain had been captured by ' Chargebolt ' and ' Cellophane '.
Bakugo had grow to like Sero and Ashido more than he had back in U.A. He was glad it was Sero working with Kaminari than fuckin' Deku or some shit.
The ash blonde looked up from the magazine tilted he was reading to hear the door open.
He knew Kaminari would say something dumb and meme-ish whenever he came home (which made Bakugo love him even more)
but it was such a surprise to hear silence all through-out the apartment as the blonde was settling to coming home.
He relaxes a bit when he sees his favorite ash blonde reading the heroes magazine behind the couch like he had just picked it up.
He mutters a 'hey' as he comes behind Bakugo and wraps his arms around his waist, his cheek rested against the taller boy's back.
The explosive boy blinks and looks back to the blonde, seeing the sadder state he was in than usual.
He frowns, " Hey babe— what's wrong ?? " He asks, concerned as he turns in the other's weak grab around his waist.
Kaminari's pout deepens as he rests his head on Bakugo's chest, slightly loving the way the ash blonde was so gentle towards him.
" Kami ? "
" I— it's nothing.. " he mumbles, clearly there was something wrong. Bakugo tilts his head,
" Don't play that card with me— what's wrong. "
The blonde stayed silent for a few more minutes, letting out a quiet sigh, " It's just..— do you think i'm useless . . . ? "
His ruby orbs widen in surprise and slight anger, " W— what ?? why in the hell would I think that ?? "
" because it's true ? i'm not stupid, kat— i see it everywhere,, everyone's doubting me and my dumb fucking quirk.. "
" babe— you're not useless, i swear to god— i'll fucking kill who ever said that to you. "
" then get ready to kill a whole country. "
the ash blonde seems pained by his boyfriend's words, " kam— no one thinks that. we all have faith in you, i have faith in you. there's nothing wrong with you, baby. " he softly assures as the blonde takes his head off his lover's chest.
his amber eyes red with tears, dripping down his cheeks as he thought about how so many people probably hate him.
bakugo's brows unfurrow, his eyes soften as he looks in his boyfriend's. he wipes his thumb under the other's eyes, catching the salty tears, " you better trust me when i tell you there ain't no one else more beautiful in this world— in this damn world. " the explosive teen hums with mumbled singing— knowing that was one of Kaminari's favorite songs for them. Bakugo had never been too up on the idea of ' theme songs ' for couples but he knew it would cheer the blonde up whenever he sung them or sing in general.
Kami always adored the ash blonde's mumbled and or normal singing— he thought it was so fucking beautiful. He felt so special that Bakugo would only sing for him but he usually encourages him to sing for others— obviously, bakugo never complied.
The shaky smile grew on the blonde's lips— adoring the singing from his boyfriend.
" you're gonna wanna be my best friend, baby— you're gonna wanna be my best friend.. " His voice clearly shaken with leftover sadness but that didn't stop him from humming the rest of the parts to Bakugo.
" You mean so much to me, Kam. You are not worthless. You're worth more than a million dollars and i'm so lucky to able to be with you. "
The amber eyed boy blushed lightly, shooting his eyes away from Bakugo's— trying to die down his embarrassment, " s— shut up,, " he mumbles, knowing he was not in fact worth that much.
" never. not until you accept you're fucking amazing. " Bakugo challenged as the blonde looked defeated.
" b— but,, i'm not.. " he mutters stubbornly.
" babe— we could either be here all day while i throw compliments at you or you can accept it and we can go out where i will constantly rant to people about how amazing you are. " he says as if his statements weren't making the blonde blush and feel more important.
Kaminari giggles and sighs, that smile finding its way back to his lips, the one that Bakugo loves to see, " well then— i guess we better getting going out, huh ? " he smirks with a brow raise.
the sandy blonde smiles and leans down to kiss Kami's lips like they had done a thousand times before.
" mm,, i guess we should. " bakugo mumbles into the kiss before pulling back. he hums, wrapping his arm around the waist of his smaller boyfriend,
" you really think i'm amazing ? " the boy asks as the two walk by each other toward the door.
bakugo temporarily lets Kaminari out of his arm grasp to grab his coat before pulling the blonde back to him, their faces so close.
Bakugo gently places his lips against his, kissing him before pulling away just a bit,
" always have, always will. "
