I finally got a picture of Mama Maxine on the scale! I had to coax her with food to stay still, but I did it!

As you can see she's 6 lb 12 oz, which is amazingly good! She's gained almost a full pound since we first got her

The kittens, as always, are gaining nicely. Gray is 197 g, Bleu is 217 g, Skunk is 235 g, and Whitey is 224 g. I didn't get pictures of them on the scale tonight because I knew I was going to take proper pictures of their faces.

Blue took a few minutes to weight because he wanted to be held and wouldn't stop crying. Every time he would squeak his entire body would jump a little bit; just enough to put a different amount of pressure on the scale causing the numbers to change. We're probably going to have to switch their weights to ounces soon, they're starting to outgrow the smaller scale.

As I promised yesterday, I did get good pictures of all their lovely faces.

Fun fact: taking pictures of kittens is very difficult and results in many outtakes. I speak from numerous experiences.

It's one thing when they're on a scale, but it's an entirely different thing when you're trying to see their face. Kittens are almost like that one friend who always puts their hand over their face in pictures. No shade to those friends by the way, I was that friend for many years.

Their eyes and ears are starting to think about opening. There were a few times when we saw their eyes start to open a little bit, and their ears occasionally twitch back and forth. As I said before they usually open in the 7-10 day old range so they should be open by the end of the week.

Mama Maxine is still on the clavamox although her mastitis looks to be pretty much completely cleared up. But other than that, I think this is it for today. Really sorry about the super a late update, Wattpad was being difficult tonight. Talk to you tomorrow! Have a good one!
