A Seth Rollins Love Story

Chapter 10

                             

                           It was now New Year's Eve. Colby is cleared to travel as long as he takes it easy, so he's flying into Oklahoma to visit you. You're currently doing a photo shoot for a fitness magazine, so you're wearing a sports bra and workout shorts and a pair of sneakers. You were standing in the back of the arena in front of a backdrop when you see Colby walk up beside the camera guy. You immediately run up to him and wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him. "I've missed you so much, Colby" "I've missed you too". You finally let go and excuse yourself back to your shoot. You finish your photo shoot and slide on your WWE zip up hoodie and walk over to Colby. The two of you walk hand in hand to catering where you run into Stephanie. "Hey, guys! Colby, how are you doing? Any better?" "Yeah, tons. Thanks, Steph" "No problem. Since I got you both here, I've got some news. I got a call from Ellen's people today and they want the two of you to do an interview on Friday morning. You guys interested?". You and Colby both look at each other and Colby can tell that you really wanna do it, so he tells Stephanie yes.

After the live event was over, you and Colby went to the hotel bar and counted down to midnight with everyone else. Once the clock hit midnight, Colby grabbed you and kissed you. "Happy New Year, Rae" "Happy New Year". The two of you go to your room and head straight to bed. The next morning you both catch a flight to LA and head straight for the studio. You got there just in time to get dressed and get to hair and makeup. You wore black leather pants and a red tank top with a black leather jacket and black heels. Your hair was washed and dried with a diffuser and your makeup was a simple smokey eye with red lipstick. Colby was wearing black pants and a black button down shirt with a black tie and black shoes and had his hair in a low bun.

"And now our special guests, WWE Superstars Seth Rollins and RaeLynn!". The two of you walk out onto the stage hand in hand. Colby's knee brace slowed him downa little bit, but the two of you got to your chairs. You sat closest to Ellen and Colby sat in the second chair beside you. Interview:

Ellen: So, RaeLynn, you and Colby have been dating since July, am I correct?

You: Yes, but you can call me Rae

Ellen: Awesome, so how did you two meet?

Colby: She started in NXT when she was only 18 years old. Fresh out of High School. I was already there and I was 25. We worked together until I got called up

Ellen: And you're both how old now?

You: I'm almost 22 and he's almost 29

Ellen: So that means you two have known each other for 3 years?

Colby: That's right. We didn't get to work together very long. I think her second or third day was my last at NXT

Ellen: 7 years is quite the age difference, how do you deal?

Colby: She's more mature for her age than people may think. Hell, most of the time she's more mature than me *Crowd laughs*

Ellen: You two seem extremely happy together. Do you live together or seperately?

You: Colby lives in Davenport and I live in Orlando. I'm actually in the process of moving to Davenport to be closer to Colby

Ellen: So you're moving in together?

Colby: No, she's moving into an apartment a few blocks from my house. We might move in together some day, but not right now

Ellen: Rae, I see you have a C necklace on, is that from Seth?

You: Yes, he got it for me for Christmas

Ellen: It's beautiful. Well, Thank You guys for coming out today! Feel free to come back any time

After the interview was over, you and Colby left and went back to Davenport. You had 24 hours to spend together before you had to be in the next city, so you wanted to spend that time with Colby.

Once you got back to Colby's he ordered Chinese takeout and the two of you sat at the dining room table eating in silence. "Rae... Did something in that interview upset you?" "A little bit.. I mean how could she just assume that our age difference is a struggle for us?" "Most people are bothered by it.. Don't let her get to you.. Okay?". You smiled weakly at him and he leaned over and kissed you. The two of you went to bed, but you couldn't sleep. Jet lag can be a real pain in the ass sometimes.

The next morning, you got up and started packing. You wore your leggings and one of Colby's hoodie's and your sneakers. You were almost out the door when Colby said "what, you're leaving without saying goodbye?". You turned around and saw Colby leaning against the couch. "Sorry, babe.. I just didn't wanna wake you up". You walked over to him and wrapped your arms around his waist and he wrapped his around your neck. "I'll miss you, Rae" "I'll miss you too". You kissed him goodbye and walked out the door to your Uber and headed for the airport.

At the next city, you were sitting at catering eating lunch when Nikki Bella came running in to find you. "Rae! Have you seen the headlines?" "No, why?" "Look". She handed you her phone and there was a picture of you leaving the Kansas City airport in Colby's hoodie and sunglasses. the headline read: "Is WWE Superstar RaeLynn Hiding A Baby Bump?" and there was a circle around your belly with an arrow pointing to it. "Can you go find Steph? I need to call Colby". The phone rang and rang and finally Colby answered:

Colby: Hey babe. What's up?

You: Have you read the headlines?

Colby: No, why?

You: Put me on speaker and look it up

Colby: Oh wow

You: Can you believe this shit??

Colby: There's clearly not a baby bump, right?

You: Colby, my period ended yesterday. I'm not pregnant.

Colby: I'll get this sorted out. I promise

You: Okay. I gotta go. I love you

Colby: I love you too

You and Stephanie talked and they decided that you needed to make a social media post and get ahead of this. You had Stephanie take a picture of you in your gear since you were the first match of the night and you were ready to go. You posed by standing in front of the curtain blocking off catering with your right hand on your hip and your right knee bent. You posted it with the caption: "Just heard the new rumor going around. No, I am NOT pregnant. I am on birth control and Colby and I use protection. When/if we decide to have a baby or end up with a surprise pregnancy, YOU, the WWE Universe will be the first to know. Colby called you and said that he called the website that it was posted on and they took the article down and posted an apology and congratulated you on standing up for yourself. He even took the picture you posted and captioned it: "Heard that I'm gonna be a dad?! Holy sh*t. Rae and I are gonna have to have a chat about why she told a gossip site before telling me. Ha! Not hardly. Rae is NOT pregnant. When/if we have kids, the WWE Universe will be the first to know. Second to our families. Keep your noses out of other people's business and mind your own! Monday Night RAW went on without a hitch and you're officially in the running for the WWE Women's Championship and you couldn't be more excited. You called Colby the second you got backstage after your match and he said he had been watching and that he's proud of you. If you keep this up, you'll be in WrestleMania!
