Part 22 - Can We Stop At That Small Shop and Pick Up Some Food?

In Space, Inside The Spaceship
After Alvin and Brittany explained to Simon Jeanette Theodore and Eleanor, how and why they were alive and who The Doctor was...Simon and Jeanette started planning where to go next
Meanwhile in the games room, Theodore was starting to get hungry and was losing his concentration on the game he was playing
"Theodore are you OK?" asked Eleanor
"Yeah I'm fine, just a bit hungry that's all" replied Theodore
Eleanor gave a small giggle
"Well why didn't you say something to me?" joked Eleanor
Eleanor jumped off the sofa and looked back at Theodore
"I will have a look at what we have in the fridge" called Eleanor
"Oh, OK cool thanks. Do you want me to come with you to help carry the food back?" asked Theodore
"No I will be OK but thanks for offering" replied Eleanor
Eleanor made her way into the room where the kitchen was and walked over to the fridge
Eleanor opened the fridge door and looked inside, but to her surprise the fridge was almost empty
"Wow! I didn't think we was that low on food" Eleanor said outloud to herself
Eleanor closed the fridge door and went back to Theodore in the games room
"Hey Theodore, I checked the fridge and we are nearly out of food" said Eleanor
"What? No! We can't run out of food. We will all starve to death" replied Theodore in a worried voice
"We need to go shopping as soon as possible" said Eleanor
"Shall I go and ask Simon if there is a shop nearby to buy some food?" asked Theodore
"Yeah sure, I will go with you if you want?" asked Eleanor
"Yeah you can come if you want, I don't mind" replied Theodore
Theodore and Eleanor went to the control room and found Simon Jeanette and Towelie all talking together
Before Theodore and Eleanor spoke, they heard Simon and Jeanette discussing a nearby planet that they might visit
"Hey Simon!" called Theodore
"Hey Theodore, what's wrong bro?" Asked Simon walking over to Theodore
"I'm hungry and Eleanor said we don't have much food in the fridge" replied Theodore
"Wow, I can't believe how quick we have gone through all that food" said Simon in a surprised voice
"Sorry for been nosey...but where was that planet we just heard you talking about?" Asked Eleanor
"We were talking about visiting a planet called Venguna. It's only 20 minutes away from here and we was thinking about having a look around after hearing about some of the fascinating things there. Apparently there are things on the planet like giant jelly bears, Spaghetti and meatball trees and pyramids made of cheese" replied Simon
"Sounds fun, do you think there will be a shop there too that will sell food?" Asked Eleanor
"More then likely yes" replied Simon
Theodore then grabbed hold of Simon's arm
"Can we stop at that small shop and pick up some food?" Asked Theodore
Simon gave a small laugh "Course we can Theodore, we was planning on visiting the planet Venguna anyway" replied Simon
"Are you going to tell Alvin and Brittany we are going to Venguna?" Asked Towelie
"Yeah we can do that" replied Eleanor
"Ok I will go and let them know, let my legs have a stretch. Eleanor do you want to come with me?" Asked Jeanette
"Yeah sure" replied Eleanor
Simon and Towelie went over to the control panel to start flying towards Venguna, while Jeanette and Eleanor were walking out of the control room
Jeanette and Eleanor had just left the control room and were just making there way to Alvin and Brittany's room
"Do you think Alvin and Brittany will be excited about visiting another new planet?" Asked Jeanette
"Yeah of course I do sister. Brittany loves to explore new places" replied Eleanor with a giggle
Jeanette and Eleanor were outside Alvin and Brittany's room and Jeanette knocked on the door
"Come in" shouted Brittany
The two of them entered the room and saw Brittany sat on the left side of the double bed and Alvin sleeping at the right side of the bed
"Oh, hey girls. How are you two doing?" Asked Brittany with a smile
"We are doing fine Brittany, we just came to tell you that we are going to visit and explore a new planet very shortly" replied Eleanor
"Simon said it's about 20 minutes away. Are you two going to explore the planet at the same time as we do?" Asked Jeanette
"I don't know yet sister..." Replied Brittany looking at the ground
Jeanette and Eleanor looked confused
"What? Why not?" Asked Eleanor in a worried voice
Brittany stood up and whispered in to her sisters "I'm worried about Alvin. He is saying and doing strange things and I'm worried he could get worse"
"What do you mean by strange things? What like?" Asked Jeanette
Just then, Alvin yawned and sat up in bed
He rubbed his eyes and saw Brittany talking to her sisters
"Oh hey everyone. I didn't know your sisters were in here too Brittany" called Alvin
"Yeah, they have just arrived a few minutes ago" replied Brittany
"Is everything ok?" Asked Alvin
"Yeah we just came to tell you both we are visiting another new planet" replied Eleanor
"Another planet? But how will we get there?" Asked Alvin
"By landing the Spaceship that we are on now on the planet" replied Eleanor
"Hold on! We are in Space?" Asked Alvin
"Yeah that's right Alvin, we have been in Space a while now silly" replied Brittany
"Really? I thought we was still at home and it was just night time outside...are you sure we have been in Space a while?" asked Alvin
Brittany nodded at Alvin and then turned to look at her sisters
"I don't know what to do..." Whispered Brittany
"We will leave you two for now...and I will come back and talk to you later Brittany. I will see if I can do anything and suggest something for you both" called Jeanette
Jeanette and Eleanor left the room and Brittany sat on the bed with Alvin again
"Wow, Jeanette seemed worried. I wonder what set her off" said Alvin
"It's because she was worried about you Alvin. I'm worried about you too" replied Brittany
"Brittany please, there is nothing to worry about. I feel fine" explained Alvin
"But your not fine, you have been saying a lot of odd things lately and it's not like you" said Brittany in a worried voice
"Please stop worrying about me, I'm fine. If I feel ill I will find you and tell you Brittany" replied Alvin
Alvin then got out of bed and walked towards the door
"Where are you going?" Asked Brittany
"I'm going to find my Dad and tell him that Mr Bozknocker wants me to play football after school today" replied Alvin
Brittany shook her head "Alvin, please just stay in bed" called Brittany
"But I..." Started Alvin before he was cut off
"Don't worry about football today, I will go and let him know where you are" Brittany jumped in
Alvin did what Brittany said and got back in bed
Once Alvin was in bed, Brittany left the room and went to find Jeanette for help
In The Control Room
After Jeanette and Eleanor had made it back to the control room, the two of them had been talking about Alvin and why he could be acting different
"What do you think is wrong with Alvin? He sometimes acts a bit stupid but it's more to get a laugh out of us all" asked Eleanor
"I'm not sure, he seemed fine most of the time while we have been in Space. The only time he has been a bit different was when we went back to the Space Station and stop the Daleks, he fell to the ground in pain" explained Jeanette
"And Brittany told us he asked her a few odd questions too before the bomb was set off" added Eleanor
"Hold on, I have just remembered. Alvin was hit with that poisonous dart before we left Metropolis. I remember doing an examination on Alvin once we left and whatever was in that poisonous dart was starting to spread around his body. Me and Simon are currently working on an antidote for it" explained Jeanette
"Oh yeah...when Alvin was hit with that, we didn't know what had been put inside that poisonous dart. Well we still don't know exactly, but what ever it is...it might be spreading quicker then we think" called Eleanor
"Yeah your right, I better go and talk to Brittany and see if she can get Alvin to have another examination" replied Jeanette
Brittany then came into the control room
"Hey Brittany, I was just just about to come and talk to you" called Jeanette
"Jeanette! I need you to help Alvin quickly!" Said Brittany in a worried voice
"I know...look me and Simon are going to work on an antidote for Alvin for when he was hit with the poisonous dart, while Theodore and Eleanor explore Venguna and look for a shop that sells food" explained Jeanette
"Thanks Jeanette, I hope you get the antidote done soon before things get really bad and out of hand" said Brittany in a calmer voice
"Don't worry Brittany, me and Simon will do our best. Would you be able to get Alvin for me, so I can do another examination on him?" Asked Jeanette
"Yeah sure, I will get Alvin now and will see you shortly" replied Brittany
Brittany went back to the room and got Alvin out of bed
She took Alvin to the small lab area on the Spaceship where Jeanette was waiting
"Ok Alvin, stay calm I'm just going to do a few quick tests on you" said Jeanette
"I don't know why, I said I'm fine. I just really want to go to play football right now" replied Alvin
15 Minutes Later...
Jeanette had just finished doing some tests on Alvin and was looking at the results now
"Oh no..." Said Jeanette in a worried voice
"What's wrong?" Asked Brittany
"It's just what I feared. The poisonous cells that are multiplying in Alvin's body, they have multiplied a lot quicker then I expected and they are still multiplying rapidly. They have taken over 70% of his good and healthy body cells right now" replied Jeanette
"So what are you saying? Will Alvin be OK? How long does Alvin have left before he becomes a monster?" Asked Brittany
"I would say 4 hours, if not less...I'm sorry Brittany" replied Jeanette
With that, Theodore and Eleanor are getting ready to go and explore the planet Venguna and buy some food
While Simon and Jeanette now have the task of making an antidote for Alvin quickly, before it becomes too late and he becomes a monster
