In Space, Inside The Spaceship
After, the Chipmunks Chipettes and Towelie had escaped Team Cow-moo-flage, they had all walked around and explored the Spaceship they now had
Each pair had chosen a bedroom so that each pair had a bit of privacy and they wasn't all sleeping in the same room together
Towelie was the only one without a bedroom but he didn't mind staying in the control room by himself
After Alvin got hit with a poisonous dart from Team Cow-moo-flage, Brittany insisted that Alvin needed to be checked out to make sure he was ok
Alvin told Brittany he was fine, but Brittany still asked Alvin to let Jeanette check him and make sure there is nothing bad happening to him that he is unaware about
Jeanette had made some notes while doing tests on Alvin and after Jeanette had finished checking Alvin, she went to find and tell Alvin and Brittany what she had found out
She checked the games room which had a couple of Sofas and a TV with a few different game consoles
There was no sign of Alvin and Brittany, but Jeanette did see Theodore and Eleanor
"Hey Eleanor" called Jeanette
"Oh hey Jeanette, how's it going sister?" Asked Eleanor
"Pretty good actually. I'm just looking for Alvin and Brittany if you have seen them?" Asked Jeanette
"We haven't seen them in here" said Theodore
"Oh how about their bedroom? They were always together in their bedroom when we were at home with Dave" suggested Eleanor
"I haven't checked their bedroom yet. Was going to check there after finding you two incase they was with you two" explained Jeanette
"Yeah I guess that makes sense" said Eleanor
"By the way, if you don't mind me asking sister...what do you want to see Alvin and Brittany about?" Asked Eleanor
"To tell them both about Alvin's results from the tests I did on him...you know, about the poisonous dart" explained Jeanette
"Oh yeah I remember you saying now...hope everything is ok" said Eleanor with a smile
Jeanette shrugged her shoulders
"Well I have to tell them both either way, good news or bad news" replied Jeanette
"Anyway, see you two later" called Jeanette before leaving the games room
Jeanette made her way to the small bedroom where Alvin and Brittany were and knocked on the door before entering
"Hey you two, I hope I'm not interrupting" said Jeanette
"No not at all sister" replied Brittany with a giggle
"Ok the tests are completed now and I have talked to Alvin after the tests and asked him if he had felt any different any since we left Metropolis..." Started Jeanette
"And I said I didn't feel any different now from when we left" Alvin jumped in
Brittany nudged Alvin and said "Shush Alvin, don't interrupt my sister while she is talking. It's rude"
"Sorry Jeanette please continue" apologised Alvin
"You don't need to apologise Alvin" replied Jeanette with a giggle "But apology accepted anyway"
"Right back to your test results. The scans show that whatever was in that poisonous dart, has effected your blood stream and the poisonous cells in your body are starting to multiply" explained Jeanette
"What? So what does that mean?" Asked Alvin in a worried voice
"Is Alvin going to be ok?" Asked Brittany also in a worried voice
"I can't say right now if Alvin will be ok Brittany. However after looking at the scans, before and after, the poisonous cells are not multiplying very quickly. So me and Simon should still have some time to make a cure for Alvin before anything seriously bad happens to him" explained Jeanette
"I hope you can make a cure for me. I don't want to go at such a young age" called Alvin in a sad voice
Brittany put her arm around Alvin "Don't worry Alvin, I'm highly positive that Simon and Jeanette will make a cure for you soon and they will make sure you are ok" said Brittany with a kiss afterwards
There was a few minutes of silence before Brittany spoke again
"Jeanette, what will happen to Alvin if you don't manage to make a cure for him in time?" Asked Brittany
"I...I don't want to think or really tell you...about if we don't cure Alvin in time..." started Jeanette
Jeanette took a deep breath and continued
"But if we don't, then the poisonous cells in his body will make Alvin mutate into a monster" explained Jeanette
Alvin stood up in anger and shock
"What? No way! I can't become a monster!" Shouted Alvin
"Is there no way of stopping the mutation...at least for a certain amount of time while you make a cure?" Asked Brittany
Jeanette shook her head "No, there is no way of delaying the mutation. We just have to make a cure soon to prevent it from happening"
"Well how long do I have before I become a monster?" Asked Alvin in a worried voice
"I don't have an exact time, but looking at how long the poisonous cells are taking to multiply...I would say you have around three weeks until your mutation is complete" replied Jeanette
Alvin sat back down and put hid his face in his paws
"I don't want to become a monster...(sniff)...I will lose everything...my girlfriend...(sniff)...my kids at home...my brothers..." Said Alvin in a sad voice while crying
Brittany started to cry too and gave Alvin a hug
"Don't worry Alvin, everything will be fine. Please trust me. I have supported you and cared for you all the time we have been together and I have never let you down with anything. We will make it through this together I promise, nothing will separate us. I love you so much Alvin" explained Brittany while tears run down her face
"I love you too Brittany, I couldn't live without you" replied Alvin in a sad voice
Jeanette felt a couple of tears run down her face too after seeing Alvin and Brittany in this sad state
"I...I will let you two be alone...for a while..." Said Jeanette brushing tears from her eyes while leaving the bedroom
Once Jeanette left the bedroom, Alvin and Brittany fell down on the bed and let go of each other
The two of them looked at each other and then they both gave each other a kiss before going to sleep
2 Hours Later...
After a couple of hours sleep, Alvin had just woke up and seemed more calm now then he was before his sleep
"Hey Brittany are you awake?" Asked Alvin
"Yeah, I woke up a few minutes ago" replied Brittany
Brittany turned around and faced Alvin
"Are you feeling any better...I mean, more positive and happier or not?" Asked Brittany
"I'm feeling more calm about it now after a sleep, I'm still worried though" replied Alvin
"Brittany, I need to know something" said Alvin
"Yeah?" Asked Brittany
"If I do turn into a monster, please promise me you will keep away from me" said Alvin
"Alvin, I can't promise that" replied Brittany
"Please Brittany, please keep away from me if it happens" begged Alvin
"I never want to see you get hurt and if I lose my mind then I could hurt you" explained Alvin
"Alvin...I will help you with absolutely anything. Even if you did try to attack me as a monster I would just accept it and you know why, because I know it's not you in your right mind. I know you would never hurt me" replied Brittany
Alvin smiled at Brittany "You got that right, your so cute and special to me. Your an amazing girlfriend too"
"Aw thanks Alvin, your an amazing boyfriend to me as well" replied Brittany with a giggle
"As I said earlier, I'm highly positive that Simon and Jeanette will make a cure for you soon so please stop worrying" said Brittany in a more serious voice
There was another short silence till Brittany spoke again
"Come on, let's go and forget about this for a while now and go down to the games room" suggested Brittany sitting up on the bed
Alvin sat up on the bed too and Brittany gave Alvin a cheeky smile
"So are you up for a challenge? Do you think you can beat me on Mario Kart?" Asked Brittany with a giggle
"That won't be a challenge, I can beat you any day on Mario Kart" joked Alvin
"Oh yeah, well I want you to prove it hotshot" Brittany joked back
With that, Alvin and Brittany left the bedroom and made there way downstairs to the games room...where they would be spending the next few hours playing competitive with each other and having a great time together to help both of them stay happy and positive
