Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipmunks in Space!

Part 2 - Do We Really Have To Go To The Museum Dave?

Monday, Same Day, 1:30pm, In Dave's Car
Dave had been driving to the Museum for about 20 minutes now and while he knew he was around halfway there, Alvin and Brittany were starting to get restless and bored
"Are we there yet Dave?" Asked Alvin in a tired voice
"No not yet, we are about halfway to the Museum now" replied Dave
"How much longer do we have left traveling then?" Asked Brittany
"About 20 minutes" replied Dave
Alvin and Brittany sighed in disappointment
Brittany then looked over at Alvin, smiled at him and grabbed hold of his hand which got Alvin's attention
"Oh, this traveling sucks but at least I have you to keep me company on this terrible trip to the Museum" said Alvin smiling back
Brittany giggled at Alvin's comment and gave him a quick kiss on his head
"I don't know why you two are making our trip to the Museum sound like such a long journey. We have travelled longer then this before to lots of different concerts" explained Simon
"This is a long journey to me Simon and I probably don't mind traveling for longer to concerts because I know when I get there I will have fun preforming...unlike this Museum trip it will be boring" replied Alvin
"I think we should all keep an open mind until we have actually been around the Museum, you never know we might all enjoy the trip" called Jeanette
"Yea your right sister" Eleanor agreed
"Will there be any food we can buy at the Museum?" Asked Theodore
"Only sweets from the small gift shop" said Simon
"But you can't be hungry already Theodore, Dave gave us all some lunch before we left" Eleanor jumped in with a giggle
20 Minutes Later...
The group had arrived at the Museum and after Dave parked up, the Chipmunks and Chipettes followed Dave towards the Museum
"Do we really have to go to the Museum Dave?" Asked Alvin in a tired voice
"Yes Alvin, we do have too. I want to take you all because you will learn about new and exciting things" replied Dave
Once Dave the Chipmunks and Chipettes were inside the Museum, Simon walked closer to Dave and spoke up
"Um...Dave?" Asked Simon
"Yes Simon" Said Dave
"While I am interested in learning new things and seeing old artefacts, is there a reason you have brought us all to the Museum? Is there something new that has been added?" Asked Simon
Dave looked down at Simon and had a confused look on his face
"I'm only asking because you took us all to a Museum before and aside from me and Jeanette the others were desperate to leave after 15 minutes" explained Simon
"Ok, the reason I am taking you six to the Museum is because while I was out doing the weekly shop this morning I started talking to a women and she told me about the new Space section that has been added to this Museum. I thought you all would like to go and have a look around" explained Dave
"Oh right, that does sound quite cool actually" replied Simon
Dave spoke to the women who was sat behind a desk near the entrance
While Dave was talking, the others were talking to Simon and asking him questions
"So Simon, what did you say sounds quite cool?" Asked Alvin
"I'm not telling you that, you shouldn't have been trying to listen to my conversation with Dave it's rude" replied Simon
"Oh come on, don't be boring Simon...just tell us!" Called Brittany
"I will let Dave tell you instead" said Simon with his arms crossed
Jeanette then walked over to Simon and put her paw on his shoulder
"Come on please tell us, it can't be that bad...and the others won't stop asking if you don't" explained Jeanette whispering the last part
Simon sighed and stood next to Jeanette. He looked at the others and said "Ok guys, since some of you overheard me talking with Dave...we are going to look around the new Space section that has been added to the Museum"
"Wow! Space! Isn't that stuff to do with rockets and planets?" Asked Theodore in an excited voice
"Yea that's right" replied Eleanor
"I'm not that bothered about Space, I think it's quite boring and dull...I might wait here till you guys are done" called Alvin in a tired voice
Alvin sat down on a nearby bench and Brittany walked over to him
Brittany coughed to get Alvin's attention and then glared at him. Alvin got the message and stood up, he knew he had to look around even though he didn't want too
The two of them walked back to the others and before anyone could say anything Dave spoke up
"Ok come on everyone, the new section of the Museum is over here" called Dave
Dave started walking and the Chipmunks and Chipettes followed
"You know when we get to the new Space section, will there be lots of rockets and planets to look at?" Asked Theodore
"No silly, there will probably be small models of planets, all made to different sizes but don't think there will be any rockets" replied Eleanor with a giggle
"How did you know about the new Space section?" Asked Dave in a surprised voice
"Simon told us" replied Theodore
Dave looked at Simon
"Alvin overheard us talking and started asking me questions" Simon said quickly
Alvin was about to speak but Brittany spoke first before any arguing started
"Anyway, let's go and have a look around" Brittany called quickly leading the group with Dave
They had all arrived at the Space section of the Museum and the Chipmunks and Chipettes were amazed at what they saw
"Wow!" the six of them said together
"Look at all the different coloured planets" called Theodore looking up at the planetarium
"Yea I know, they all look amazing" said Eleanor
"I like how the room is dark and there are only a few lights about so it doesn't spoil the feel of Space" explained Simon
"Yea I totally get what you mean. I'm impressed too at how good it all looks" replied Jeanette
"I will have to test your knowledge and see how much you actually know about Space" joked Jeanette
Simon gave a small laugh and continued looking around with Jeanette
"So Alvin, do you still think Space is boring and dull?" Asked Brittany
"No I think it's quite amazing actually" replied Alvin in a shocked voice
Brittany giggled at Alvin "I thought you would change your mind when we got here" replied Brittany
"By the way before we came in this large room filled with planets and stuff...I wasn't interested in Space neither, I thought it was quite boring too" admitted Brittany
"Well I'm glad you dragged me in here, this is worth seeing and even more exciting with you here Brittany" replied Alvin with a smile
"Aw thanks Alvin" replied Brittany with a giggle
With that the Chipmunks, Chipettes and Dave all continued to look around the Space section of the Museum and learn some new and exciting things and Space
