Chapter Nine

"Hey? What's that?",

You said while approaching him as he rubbed a sweat on his forehead with his palm, he told you that it's just a dead deer and show you it's a dead body, you've almost thrown up but you quickly hold it up,

"I told ya",

He said with a smirk as you just rolled your eyes and let him go to throw its dead body.
Flynn sighed in relieve as you get back to your house and maybe gathering together with your parents and something like that as he walked deeper to the forest towards the river.
He takes out the deer's dead body from the plastic bag and cut it's flesh until its blood dripping down from its body, he put a bottle under it until the bottle is full of the deer's blood.
He took a sip of it as he sighs,
"Not as good as human's..",
Then he throws its dead body towards the river. He inhaled the fresh air deeply and searched for a sign of any other humans as he smells something delicious near the river, his grey eyes turned red as he ran towards the source.

He found a 13th-year-old boy, swimming there alone with no parents and friends, he seems so happy and a smile plastered on his ears.

'Oh boy, that smile won't last long',

He smirked as he approached the boy slowly before attacking and bring him home for dinner.

Meanwhile,
You grab your jacket and boots to get ready to go outside, the weather is nice and you don't have anything to do, so your legs moved towards the mansion by itself. As usual, the birds chirping happily and the cool breeze blew your hair strands, a sound of flowing water gave you a chill as a white shiny rock path caught your attention, you ran towards it and there you are, in the mansion again.

The door creaked open as you peeked inside as your (E/C) eyes met with a gold one near the fireplace,

"Coming back~?",

Javier asked as his gold orbs scanning your figure up and down, he was laying down on a sofa lazily with a book on his hand, maybe he was as bored as you.

"Is that your Problem?",

You asked as you crossed your arms in front of your chest lazily,

"No, I'm happy",

He said as he teleported next to you and hug you tightly, not even gave you a chance to breathe, you told him to let you go but he didn't listen,

"Brother, you are torturing her...",

A voice from upstairs said as Javier let you go and apologized with his 'seducing' manner.
You took a glance towards the source as your eyes met with a black one,
Jace was standing there as he approached you, asking you what are you doing here and some bullshit that you don't have to answer but there's one weird question from him that makes you felt something you shouldn't as a human.

"Do you want to watch a sunset today? I bet you'll love it..",

You tilted your head to the side as you stared to his eyes deeply but he looked away, hiding something.

"Sure.. can I ask my friend to go-",

"No. just a two of us.",

He said, leaving your disappointed self because you want to take Flynn with you just in case. You decided to wait for Jace in the library, you pushed the door open as your eyes still amazed by the luxurious view.
You start searching for an interesting book as your eyes met with a thick book called 'mythical creature and it's secret',
Well, interesting enough.

You open the book and read about a creature that you found interesting until you decided to search for something about a vampire or a kind like that until you stopped on page 521,
'Vampire'
You started to read it carefully and understand what it means since you don't know anything about them.
It says, 'Vampires is the most powerful and also the rarest creature in the earth, maybe there's just 1,25 % of human population and you can't find them in the public place. They have their own base and a secret place called 'se- iuexta te ali-',
The part of the page is ripped and you are very curious right now, maybe you could ask the triplets later.
Then you continue to read.

You want to continue the part but a sound interrupt you to do so,

"Hey. What are you doing?",

You shifted your gaze towards the source and met with Jace's figure standing in front of the door,
You tell him that you are waiting for him as he replied,

"The sun is setting, are you ready? I can wait-",

"No it's okay, let's go.",

You said and closed book, following him from behind.

He went to the balcony on the mansion's highest floor and he jumped to the roof easily,

"Hey, you forgot something here..",

You said as you struggling, he chuckled towards your action and helped you until you were able to stand on the mansion's roof.
You were amazed by the view from here, you can see everything clearly and the cold breeze sends a chill down to your spine,

"Wow..",

You said as your eyes fixed on the sunset, you sat down next to him as your eyes still didn't leave the scene in front of you, he looked at you with a smile on his face, glad that you like it.

"This is my favorite place, no one knew about this except you.",

He said as he looked at you, you looked back and furrowed your eyebrows,

"What do you mean?",

You asked and he sighed,

"you can call this a special place for me.. I've always dreamed that I will bring someone special here, watching the sunset or sunrise, talking about random joke.. and here you are.",

You blushed towards his words and you don't know why but you felt happy,

"Well, thanks Jace, I'm happy to hear that.",

"I like it when you call my name.",
He mumbled but you didn't hear him clearly.

Slowly, his hands touched your palms and he moves closer towards you,
You were confused but paralyzed by his action, he leans into you as his and your face just an inch away as you saw something in his eyes, something that isn't right.
