annies perspective

he was standing there solo. it was so awkward cause he didn't say anything until i asked why he was here.
"oh sorry i zoned out for a second, i came here to apologize for getting you in trouble. and for embarrassing you."
he stands there all confident. "asher i've told you before, it's fine!" "okay well i just wanted to make it up to you." i shake my head as a sign of no. just as i was gonna close the door he slides his foot at the bottom part of the door and opens it wide. "wait." i look at him "yes?" without him saying anything he mouths the word 'sorry' and walks away. from the view of my window i see him drive off. i open the window to get a clearer view. i yell out the window "twerp!" i stick my head out the window looking at the right as he drives off into the distance.

i send him a text message

i supposed he was still driving home cause his house is pretty far considering that he lives in one of those rich houses like 50 minutes away.
don't ask me how i know. but how does he know where i live? i wasn't expecting asher to show up at 7pm while i was trying to go to sleep.

ashers perspective

i basically drove their for nothing, well i went there to see her and apologize but it didn't work out too well. when i got home it was dark outside. i run into my house greeted by my dog gilbert who jumps up on me "cmon gilbert shake a paw." he puts his paw out and i grab a hold of it, i shake his paw and pet him.

a few minutes had passed and i go on my phone to see 3 text messages.

but only annies message sticks out to me. i respond back to her message.

i hear a ding from my phone a few seconds later. i pick up my phone to see that she had responded to my answer.

followed by that i text her back with a straight face.

she didn't text anything back and left me on read.

it was about 9pm when i got ready for bed, i make my bed and take a shower. when i come back gilbert had went on my bed and ruined it just after i made it. i sigh and fix it, i pet him and give him a treat. i fell asleep while playing some music.

september 13

i woke up; i made my bed, washed my face and changed out of my pyjamas and into something casual. i walk into the kitchen to see avi making a big bowl of cereal, i do the same. i grab a bowl from the top shelf and fill it with cheerios.

london comes over rubbing her eyes. "you skipping breakfast?" i said. cause i didn't see her make anything. she shakes her head and says "no no." she looks to the side, she walks out of the side door putting her earbuds in. "wait london do you want me to drive you?" i ask.

she steps back, closes and locks the door, "yeah sure, but we gotta be there early." i nod and eat my cereal quickly and rush to my room to put a beanie and my jacket on since it was colder out. avi was sitting there eating his cereal "what about me?" he questions.
"well get ready." i tell him. he dumps out his cereal and puts a shirt on.

"done!" i go into the garage and hop in the car. i put the keys in and start the car. they both get in and we drive off. when we were there they walked out of the car slamming the door behind them. i wave bye and drive to my school, i park in the parking lot and see a familiar face by the school doors, it was annie. from a distance i see her big smile as she was laughing and talking to jayden, i seen her long brown hair sitting over top of her shoulders. i was walking, but johnny came over, "heyy buddy, how's it going with u and annie?" "wdym?" i ask.
"i heard about what happened in math class duude, thats gotta burn, but didya get to her yet?" he asked. "um were just friends." i roll my eyes. "you sure?" "yes!" he looks to the side, and spotted her. "oh go to ur girl." he said, i push him to the side and walk over to the door. but before i got to speak to her, she was gone.
