Chapter twelve: Cora's visit

''How is she?'' Felix asked as he watched Peter stand up again. He was very clearly exhausted, he was wobbling on his feet and his eyes had dark bangs under them. 

''Alright for now. But I need to get her strength up ... and my own.'' 

-------Once upon a neverland-------

Comforting her mentor, Lillian was sitting on the counter in the middle of the shop, watching Mr. Gold pace around the room. She closed her eyes before finally snapping.

''Can you stop!? You're making my head spin!'' He turned back to his daughter who had her head in her hands, trying to massage an up coming headache away. He gave a soft nod and placed the old chipped cup into place, frowning as he looked up again. Walking towards the door, Lillian was watching his every move until he turned around again. Looking at a big brown suitcase.  

''Hello Rumple, Lilith.'' Both Lillian and Mr. Gold jumped at the sudden voice, turning around to face Cora. 

''Well, I expected this was just a matter of time. Had hoped you were dead but hey ... '' He said with a cheerful voice, extending his arm to Lillian who quickly ran towards him. ''Disappointment's are just part of life. I'm sure we can agree on that.'' 

''Aw, the crocodile snaps at the little bird. And after I've brought you a gift.'' 

Lily, finally brave enough to speak looked back at the suitcase and scoffed. ''Yeah, and did you bring the antidote, too?'' 

 Cora chuckled and shook her head as she watched the young girl's features. ''Oh, Lilith. It's a peace offering.'' Rumple pulled his ward closer, making her stop breathing for a moment in distress.

''And what do you want for this, uh ... this 'Peace offering'?''

''My daughter.'' She almost whispered. ''You were so clever to get her to lat the curse so you could come here. You don't need her anymore.'' She stopped for a moment, looking at the father-daughter duo, Lilith hadn't changed one bit. ''Let me try to get her back and let us live.'' 

''And what do we get for our troubles?''

''Your son.'' She looked at the suitcase again, making Lillian open it. She watched the white globe and turned back in shock. ''You know what that is, of course.''

''It'll find him ... if this one truly is it.''

''Oh, darling, I have no reasons to cheat you.''

''We all know that is a lie Cora.'' Lillian snapped, looking back at the older woman. 

''I want you. To find the one person who still might love you. After all, I'm doing the same thing.'' Lillian stepped back as the older woman stepped closer to the duo. 

''Do you have any spells to return memories?''

''I only know what you've taught me.'' She took a small breath, looking into Rumple's eyes. ''Master.'' Lilith felt the sudden change in the air, shaking her head for a moment, she pulled Rumple back next to her. ''So will you accept my offer of a truce?'' He extended his arm.

''Truce.'' Cora shook his hand, making Lillian freeze in place. What kind of spell had she put Rumple under that he was making a deal with Cora.

''Let's seal it like we used to.'' She smirked at Lillian's face expression. As Cora kissed Rumple she gagged, making her hand fly to her mouth in order to keep it in. When they pulled back Lily watched Rumple and shook her head. Waving her hand as she disappeared in a cloud of purple and black smoke. 

Lillian stood next to Mr. Gold as he knocked on the apartment door. Already opening the door, Lily watched Emma freeze on the spot. ''Gold. Lillian. We've all had a long night.''

''You remember that favor you owed me? I'm cashing it in.''

''It's not ... a good ... ''

''You do honor your agreements, don't you? We need to find someone.'' He said as he pulled Lillian to his side. ''So we're leaving today. Pack your bag.''

''Leaving?'' Snow called from the kitchen. 

''Well, where?'' Henry asked, looking directly at Lillian. She extended her hand which he took and she lead him apart. 

''You remember Bealfire? My other brother? We are going to find him. We've found a way to leave town.'' Henry beamed up, smiling at Lillian while Mr. Gold left the apartment.
