Doctor: Push! Just a little longer.

It had all happened so quick. Months and months had passed, and during the middle of the night, Mercedes water broke. They had gotten to the hospital as quick as they could, quickly prepped and ready to give birth.

Donte was next to Cedes, holding her hand, which she squeezed tightly, basically breaking Donte's hand.

Ceded continued to scream, as she did her best to push out their soon to be child.

Doctor: One last push, and it'll all be done.

Cedes did as asked, and finally...

Doctor: Congratulations to you both, your are the proud parents of a healthy baby girl.

The nurse had their child wrapped in a blanket before handing her to Cedes. She held her close as Donte kissed her forehead.

Donte: You did it, babe.

Cedes: I couldn't have gotten through this without you.

Nurse: Alright, we'll be right back to ask for her name, congratulations.

After a few minutes, the nurse came back with a clipboard and pen.

Nurse: Have you two decided on a name.

Donte: Yes, we've had this prepared for a while now....Skylar. Skylar Varnard Willams.
